I’ve spent my career trying to solve one puzzle: how do you scale sales teams without losing what makes them great?

Before Sales Assembly, I lived the highs and lows of hyper-growth - leading revenue teams, juggling targets, and realizing that growth without structure eventually collapses under its own weight. The lesson stuck: great teams don’t just grow fast, they grow well.

That’s the idea behind Sales Assembly. We built the preeminent skill development platform for B2B tech companies: part training, part community, part therapy for GTM leaders trying to do more with less. We help teams move faster, stay aligned, and actually enjoy the process of getting better.

Somewhere along the way, I also became a General Partner at VentureOn Partners, Chapter Head at Pavilion, and mentor with Techstars. I’ve spent a lot of time with founders and operators who are chasing the same thing: building something that lasts without taking themselves too seriously.

A client and friend once described me as someone who “builds community through authenticity,” which I’ll take as the polite version of “tells it like it is.” That’s probably fair.

Outside of all that, I’m a decent husband, a better dad, and a walking Simpsons encyclopedia (seasons 1–11 only, of course). I travel when I can, laugh often, and still believe a good team - and a good joke - can get you through just about anything.

Obility is a digital marketing agency providing Paid Search, Paid Social, Search Engine Optimization, and Revenue Operations services for B2B companies. Through the acquisition of Haatzama Marketing, I joined as Chief Revenue Officer leading sales, service and customer growth. I led the implementation of a strategic onboarding process to improve customer retention, a new website and revised business development framework that led to the sales team achieving their highest bookings in a single quarter in the agency’s history. I also led strategic partnerships with LinkedIn, Google, and Marketo.

I founded Haatzama Marketing, an agency that provided marketing and sales operations services to B2B organizations like Lenovo, Reflektive, LegitScript, DW Fritz, RFPIO, and others. Working alongside the agency's team of experts, we delivered award winning service, receiving recognitions such as Top Marketing Agencies in Portland (Clutch.co), Top 20 Marketing Agencies (Agency Spotter), and Top 50 Digital Agencies (Agency Spotter). The agency was acquired by Obility, Inc. in 2019.

Babcock Jenkins was a global agency with offices in Portland, Oregon and London which provided brand building, demand generation, and revenue acceleration services to drive business growth. I led the agency's Marketing Operations practice, working with account teams, leadership, and strategic partners to translate business objectives and campaign ideas into actionable offerings for new business development and in service to the agency’s clients including GE, LifeLock, and American Express, and others.

Response Capture was a marketing agency producing campaigns to drive leads for clients like Cambia, Varolii (Nuance Communications), DiscoverOrg and WebMD. I established and led the agency's marketing operations team, growing the portfolio over nearly two years, ultimately increasing the agency’s revenue by 33%.

Exterro is an e-discovery software provider. In my role I developed marketing strategies, created organized plans, and measured outcomes for optimization. I worked closely with sales leadership and the sales team to extend that strategic alignment across the go to market teams while improving the effectiveness and efficiency of processes, programs, and infrastructure for sales. I managed internal and external business development teams, administered all sales and marketing systems, and governed the data housed within those systems.

I’ve spent my career leading marketing across fast-growing startups and established companies, both in agencies and in-house. When teams trust each other and communicate clearly, they move faster, execute better, and deliver work they’re proud of. That’s the environment I build and the kind of leadership I bring.
