I’ve spent my career trying to solve one puzzle: how do you scale sales teams without losing what makes them great?

Before Sales Assembly, I lived the highs and lows of hyper-growth - leading revenue teams, juggling targets, and realizing that growth without structure eventually collapses under its own weight. The lesson stuck: great teams don’t just grow fast, they grow well.

That’s the idea behind Sales Assembly. We built the preeminent skill development platform for B2B tech companies: part training, part community, part therapy for GTM leaders trying to do more with less. We help teams move faster, stay aligned, and actually enjoy the process of getting better.

Somewhere along the way, I also became a General Partner at VentureOn Partners, Chapter Head at Pavilion, and mentor with Techstars. I’ve spent a lot of time with founders and operators who are chasing the same thing: building something that lasts without taking themselves too seriously.

A client and friend once described me as someone who “builds community through authenticity,” which I’ll take as the polite version of “tells it like it is.” That’s probably fair.

Outside of all that, I’m a decent husband, a better dad, and a walking Simpsons encyclopedia (seasons 1–11 only, of course). I travel when I can, laugh often, and still believe a good team - and a good joke - can get you through just about anything.

Stealth Startup

Co-founded new startup. Stealthy for now, but it will hopefully shape the future of the world and change how we develop our neighborhoods, communities, and our way of life.

This is a gap-filler role, one of the hardest I've ever held. I'm Chief of Staff to a very demanding, but very beautiful CEO (my wife) as we conduct our move from Virginia down to Houston, TX. This role utilizes all of my skills and experience, including (but not limited to):

-Time sensitive deadlines (Starbucks runs, lunch/dinner plans, etc.)
-Internal/external board management (I'd explain, but trust me...all my diplomatic skills are in use)
-Financial management (FP&A, M&A (one RV site was acquired overnight), and global investor relations)
-Supreme supply chain management (Amazon pickups along the road test my skills daily)
-Customer relations/success (I must keep everyone happy, always, continuously, without fail!)
-Wildlife/environmental preservation (120lb Malamute, ESG to the max)
-Sustainable growth/development (RV/moving truck...food/bathroom options take a new meaning)

I have over 20 years of complex and globally dispersed organizational leadership experience, with a proven track record of optimizing the un-optimizable, navigating ambiguity, and motivating cross-functional teams.

I am passionate about renewable energy and its implementation into large scale markets, and I have a keen interest in emerging technologies and trends. I am also an avid networker and connector, always eager to learn from and support others in their professional and personal journeys. Outside of work, I am a proud husband and father of four, combat veteran, and avid swimmer/weightlifter. I enjoy spending time in the mountains, tackling home improvement projects, and navigating the heat of south Texas.
