It’s here I’m currently working alongside some of the smartest minds in the media buying world to bring the Trade Desk’s advertisers more relevant data and measurement solutions to drive effective and efficient media buying. 

Working in conjunction with our local business teams in addition to our apac and global data partnership teams, my role is focused on the acquisition and growth of data vendors to our audience, targeting or marketplaces. Me and my team also spend our time working with the wider martech ecosystem to ensure onboarding first party data is easy and seamless. Identity will forever be a beautiful evolving beast and as such, is worthy of the constant attention we give it. Finally, we are laser focused on helping retailers commercialise data assets in a privacy compliant manner; allowing for the growth of additional revenue streams and new “ancillary/non endemic” brand interaction (think telco, travel or financial brands who want to access real people buying real products.

In conjunction with our global partnership team, relevant go to market teams and our epic growth team, my focus was on growing and developing our regional relationships with key strategic partners; uncovering new opportunities for our growth team to jump on; and, of course, ensuring there's plenty of resources & processes in place to facilitate a healthy flow of communication and collaboration. It’s all about working together to drive mutual growth whilst ensuring we're having a bit of fun too.

Utilising my hands on keyboard experience, living and breathing MightyHive for many years and legal eagle background, its in this role, I learnt the importance of alignment between key stakeholders (i.e MH and it's partners) is crucial for the successful growth and maturity of mutual clients. You can never communicate enough! 

My focus was on growing and developing our relationship with key and new strategic partners, developing resources & processes to facilitate a healthy flow of communication and collaboration and ensuring everyone within our key partnerships knew who we were and how we operated - allowing for an increase in opportunities across both books of business.

It's here I learnt a macro understanding of your client's needs and the interplay of various teams across the business (especially buy in from these teams) is crucial for the success of any data driven marketing strategy. Problem solving is all about team work and ensuring all the pieces fit together to achieve that unified outcome. I also learnt how epic and fulfilling it is to manage and mentor a team. 

As team lead, my focus was on the design of innovative and strategic architecture across new + existing clients' digital marketing stacks; ensuring the necessary integrations were in place to provide clients with a truly data driven end to end marketing strategy that provided appropriate and actionable insights.  

Managing a team of senior account managers and account managers working across SMB, enterprise and indy agencies, gifted me a holistic understanding of the nuances required for a successful digital marketing strategy in an eco system of numerous tech players with varied (but necessary) offerings.

As MightyHive provides an industry leading approach to assisting an end advertiser in-house its digital marketing team, my focus as a Senior Account Manager was on the technical implementation and successful servicing, education and growth of our enterprise programmatic book of business in AU and NZ with a focus on brands in housing. During this time I also mentored and worked closely with junior MightyHivers.

In addition to my responsibilities with our clients, I established and grew MightyHive AUNZ inventory offering with key programmatic inventory partners to ensure MightyHive clients had transparent deals available for use and were up to speed on all new inventory types (i.e podcasting/audio/CTV).

It's here I learnt everything there is to know about executing successful media and search campaigns using Google Marketing Platform. I also purchased a hat stand to hold all the many hats I wore being in a start up. 

As the first operations employee for MightyHive APAC, I worked closely with the APAC MD and MightyHive USA operations team to service, educate and grow our programmatic book of business in AU, NZ and SEA.  I was trained across the Google Marketing Platform stack and have an advanced level of understanding and executional experience in regard to effective, performance led and efficient media buying and search campaigns.   

In addition to servicing media clients, I also assisted in the hiring and training of additional staff members and provided platform and technical assistance to the sales team.

It's here I learnt how to draft a good email, speed read, string together an articulate argument, speak to and manage senior stakeholders and understand how to operate a successful business within the parameters of the law. Also, I once had a dumpling thrown at me by a client! 

My focus here was on the provision of legal advice across franchising, commercial leasing, review and negotiation of commercial agreements for businesses (mainly in FMCG, Retail/Fashion and Media/Advertising); hospitality focused legislation and related business agreements; and the personal properties security act (try say that quickly three times!). It was problem solving at its very best and a thrilling experience!

Well, hello there! I am Bella. I’m deeply obsessed with my aging (gracefully) aussie bulldog called meatball, a book lover, Survivor fanatic, have a mamoth size sweet tooth and am, proudly, a former lawyer. 

After almost a decade of commercial lawyering - learning how to draft a good email, speed read, having some wild experiences (like when a client threw dumplings at me for giving advice they didn't like), string together an articulate argument and manage senior stakeholders (including the grump variety), I moved into the digital media/advertising world; joining the American digital media start up called MightyHive.

I was MightyHive's first operations focused employee in APAC. What "they" say about joining a rocketship start up during the tech boom is true; crazy growth with incredibly smart people coupled with once in a career type travel, wins and learnings. During my time at MightyHive, it was purchased by an even bigger rocket - S4 Capital. 

I went from trader into team management looking after our accounts/clients and then popped out to have some little people. Upon returning, and how I spent my last few years at Media.Monks, I was the Director of Partnerships, APAC. Where, in conjunction with various local, regional and global teams, I developed our APAC vendor partnership offering. My focus was on growing and developing Media.Monks’ regional corporate relationships with key strategic technology partners (across MarTech and AdTech) to drive growth and innovation for the business (and clients). Whilst undertaking a lot of partner management in this role, I also focused on the acquisition of new vendor partners. 

I am humbled to have been awarded Google Marketing Platform's Practitioner of the Year, 2022 and as an inaugural member of the Tealium Partner Advisory Board.

After almost 7yrs at MightyHive/media.monks I left to join THE largest and best (thanks Gartner) independent demand side platform, the trade desk. I am now the Director of Data Partnerships, ANZ at The Trade Desk helping to drive growth of data partners, data adoption across our advertisers and helping to innovate and solve for the ongoing identity issues our industry faces around a cookieless future.
