Title change from CEO to Director due to the M&A of Sportadmin and launching the Lime brand refresh.

Responsible for Lime Go and everything related to it. Growing the team from 3 to 18 people in ~2 years. Hiring, onboarding, and ramping up new colleagues in different roles while simultaneously supporting sales, engineering, expert services, customer success, support & marketing. 

Owning the product roadmap, packaging and our pricing strategy. Launching a strategic rollout to shift our positioning - resulting in a 3x increase on our average deal size on new accounts within 6m - while keeping the same sales cycle.

Lime Go is a smart prospecting tool, but also a CRM with sales & marketing focus. We help companies increase sales & enable an understanding of your ideal customer profile. 

Today we have 1700 customers and are growing at a steady pace. My role is webbing a net between sales, marketing, product, development, support and expert services. I have full ownership of the product roadmap, marketing of new features, selling to existing and new customers & budget responsibility. I work closely with our Development team discussing what new features to develop and how to implement & launch them. Together with the management team I’ve also set the business plan and vision for Lime Go until 2025. Furthermore I regularly report to stakeholders, talk to customers and prospects to iterate our product market fit. 

At Lime we welcome and onboard new trainees in our European Trainee Program two times per year. As the product manager of Lime Go I’m responsible for sessions regarding product education, sales training & market research insights.

Some of my accomplishments so far:
•	Finishing the redesign of the Lime Go (a 2 year project)
•	Achieving an all time high order intake during Q4 2021
•	Achieving an all time low churn during Q4 2021
•	Administer a price increase for Lime Go (which hadn’t been done since its launch in 2013)
•	All time high ARR, average deal size in regards to order intake, customer size average, addons sales & expert services revenue

Selling complex & flexible CRM-systems to small and medium sized companies all over Sweden, within different segments. Focusing on our two products Lime Go and Lime CRM. The sales process includes analysis of customer needs, industry knowledge, handling specified time frames, multiple decision makers, integrations, documentations, configurations and addons. 

Responsible for my own pipeline, budget, goals and the whole sales process. From prospecting, qualification, push, to closing the deal and handing over the sold project to a colleague for implementation. Furthermore taking care of my own accounts and developing their CRM-solutions over time.

Förra året såg jag en femåring öppna sin julklapp.

Det var en fotboll. Bara en simpel fotboll. Men sättet han kramade den. Sättet hans mamma tittade på honom. Det var som om hela rummet höll andan.

Jag var där som volontär för En Jul För Alla. En av förarna som delar ut julklappar till barn som annars inte skulle få någon.

Det finns över 200,000 barn i Sverige som lever i fattigdom.

Jag hade hört statistiken förut. Men statistik tittar inte dig i ögonen.

När du står där med paketet i handen. När du ser glädjen. När du ser lättnaden hos föräldern som knappt klarar hyran men vill ge sitt barn en vanlig jul. Då förstår du.

Därför sa jag "Självklart!!" när de frågade om jag kunde dela med mitt nätverk i år.

Vi försöker ge 10,000 julklappar. Och vi behöver hjälp.

Jag vet vad du tänker. “En julklapp löser ju inget.”

Och du har rätt. En julklapp fixar inte fattigdom. Den betalar inte räkningar. Den löser inte strukturella problem.

Men den gör något annat.

Det finns en historia om en pojke som går längs en strand full med strandade sjöstjärnor. Han kastar tillbaka dem i havet, en efter en.

En äldre kvinna säger: “Du kan omöjligt rädda dem alla.”

Pojken svarar: “Nej. Men det spelar roll för den här.” Och kastar tillbaka en till.

Det är det vi gör. En åt gången.

6,000 startups. 3,500 investors. 25,000 meetings. 1,700 volunteers.

Slush remains the world’s most founder-friendly tech event. But what I saw this year wasn’t just another conference. It was proof that something fundamental is shifting.

Three finalists. Three completely different problems. One pattern.

Diffraqtion won the €1M prize. They’re building visual AI hardware for satellites and machines. Proprietary software and hardware. Processing locally in the devices. They talked about quantum. About what happens when machines need to see and think faster than humans can react. Defense applications. Autonomous systems.

Kinetic is redefining email as an interactive surface for e-commerce. You can enter data, complete transactions, fill out forms - straight in the email. Works in 80% of inboxes. No apps. No redirects.

Parsewise built a data platform that automates investment and underwriting decisions. Without requiring engineering. Transparent sourcing. Clear pricing layers. Started in finance but works everywhere complex decisions need to be made faster.

And here’s the thing. Not one of them mentioned “AI” during their pitch.

While everyone else was drowning in AI buzzwords, these three simply solved problems they understood deeply. Real technical depth. Clear use cases. Obvious value.

And they won.

Musa Tariq said it on stage. In a world full of noise, the companies that stand out know how to tell a story. The kind that makes people listen, believe, and care.

Last year, Anton Osika was in the audience. Just another founder pitching among thousands. This year? He opened the main stage. Rockstar status. Everyone talking about Lovable.

And Lovable is exactly why this matters.

The 99% who couldn’t code can now build. That means more things will be built than ever before. More startups will fail than ever before. But also more problems will be solved than ever before.

The researcher frustrated with outdated tools. The operator tired of enterprise software that doesn’t work. The domain expert who sees what’s broken every day.

They can all build now. And the ones who build for problems they live with themselves, who can tell an engaging story about it - they win.

That’s what I saw at Slush. Not just on stage, but in every conversation between the booths. In the serendipitous encounters that Slush is actually built for.

The organization itself proves it. Student-run. 1,700 volunteers. And they built their own event platform, their own recruitment system, their own volunteer management tools. From scratch.

That’s the European startup spirit in practice.

Sure, capital is still cautious. The 28th regime might help. But optimism among founders is back. And now they have the tools to build without waiting for permission or funding.

So if you’re still doubting Europe?

Go to Helsinki. Go to Slush. See it for yourself.

Varje vecka hör jag samma sak: “Vi kan inte göra X på grund av GDPR eller AI Act.”

Men när man tittar närmare är problemet nästan aldrig juridiken. Problemet är att organisationen saknar kompetens att tolka juridiken och översätta den till handling.

Compliance är i praktiken ett designarbete.
Vilka data behöver vi?
Vilken risk accepterar vi?
Vilka kontrollmekanismer krävs?

De organisationer som lyckas har byggt tvärfunktionella team där jurister, ingenjörer och verksamhet sitter tillsammans. Där regelverk blir möjliggörare - inte undanflykter.

Har ni ett juridiskt hinder eller ett kompetenshinder?

Det här kommer att göra ont att höra.

Den största kompetensomställningen sedan internet håller just nu på att hända mitt framför ögonen på oss. Och de flesta svenska organisationer beter sig som om jobbtitlar vore naturkonstanter.

Men titta på grafiken nedan. Det är inte framtidsspekulation. Det är redan verklighet.

AI håller på att göra med jobbtitlar det Excel gjorde med ekonomiavdelningar på 90-talet. Det flyttar kraft. Det flyttar ansvar. Det flyttar förmåga – från team till individer.

Tre saker förändras i grunden:

1. Specialistroller suddas ut
När en enda individ kan göra det som krävde ett helt team för fem år sedan, börjar gamla titlar tappa mening. Project Manager. Program Manager. Requirements Engineer. Alla dessa roller föddes ur komplexitet. AI tar bort komplexiteten.

2. Produkt och teknik smälter ihop
Förr kunde produkt “äga problemet” och teknik “äga lösningen”. I AI-eran blir det löjligt. Du måste både förstå användaren och kunna bygga prototyper själv. Det är därför “Product Engineer” nu växer fram globalt – en hybrid med superkrafter.

3. Ett nytt normaltillstånd: 1-personsteam
Med AI-agenter, automatiserad testning, auto-commit-flows och realtidsfeedback kan en enda driven person leverera det som tidigare tog en sprintgrupp. Det betyder inte att team försvinner. Det betyder att teamens arbete förändras.

Det här är obekvämt för många organisationer, särskilt i Sverige där vi älskar titlar, tydliga ansvarslinjer och rollbeskrivningar som är längre än våra strategi-PM.

Om du är chef eller ledare så är inte frågan du ska ställa dig "hur kommer våra roller påverkas?”

Utan:
“Vilka roller är redan irrelevanta utan att vi har vågat säga det högt?”

Det här är också en möjlighet.

För de som kliver fram nu – de som lär sig bygga, automatisera, experimentera – de får tio gånger hävstång jämfört med kollegor som väntar på instruktioner.

AI gör inte människor överflödiga.
AI gör människor med rätt förmågor ovärderliga.

Så.
Vad är er plan?
Håller ni fast vid gårdagens rollstrukturer, eller designar ni morgondagens organisation?

Jag är nyfiken på vilka roller du tror försvinner, och vilka som kommer uppstå.

Anders called me last week.

He’s a partner at a 30-person management consulting firm. Smart people. High-level work. Solid reputation.

But he was frustrated.

“We’ve sent everyone to industry events. Paid for dinners. Encouraged networking. They’re brilliant at it when they’re actually there – connecting with the right people, having great conversations.”

“So what’s the problem?”

“They come back to the office and go straight back into their projects. None of those conversations ever turn into anything.”

Here’s what he told me:

For years, it worked fine. He and his co-partner brought in the deals. The consultants delivered. Everyone was happy.

They grew. Slowly but steadily.

But now? The market’s tighter. Every firm is chasing the same clients. And suddenly, having just two people responsible for all business development isn’t enough anymore.

So they did what seemed logical: “Everyone needs to be more involved in sales.”

They invested. Events. Conferences. Dinners with potential clients.

And their people showed up. They’re good at this stuff – genuinely good. Smart conversations. Real connections.

But then nothing happens.

The consultants meet someone interesting at an event on Tuesday. By Thursday, they’re deep in client delivery. By next month, that conversation is completely forgotten.

“It’s like we’re fishing with holes in the net,” Anders said.

The problem isn’t that they can’t build relationships. The problem is they’ve never had to maintain them.

For 10 years, relationship building was something the partners did. For everyone else, it was a nice-to-have. Something you did if you had time.

Now it’s a need-to-have. And nobody has the muscle memory for it.

They’ve never:
→ Followed up systematically after events
→ Set reminders to check in with warm contacts
→ Tracked which conversations actually matter
→ Built habits around staying visible

Because they were always paid to deliver projects. Not to nurture relationships.

And you can’t just flip a switch on that.

“I can’t be frustrated with them,” Anders said. “We never taught them how to do this. We just expected it would happen naturally.”

This is the quiet crisis in a lot of boutique firms right now.

You’ve built great businesses on the backs of 1-2 rainmakers. But when the market tightens and you need everyone to contribute to pipeline – suddenly you realize nobody else knows how.

Not because they’re incapable. But because they’ve never had to build that system.

The relationships are there. The conversations happened. The potential is real.

It’s just sitting in a graveyard of “I should follow up with that person someday.”
