I’m on a mission to change how we hire leaders in this country. Our employees and customers deserve to work with executives who are aligned on the values and the mission of the company, as well as being highly capable.

At Y Scouts, we lead with purpose. We don’t advertise roles — we use our covert discovery process to handpick outstanding candidates for your leadership role. We obsess about 3 key characteristics:

If a candidate has all 3, they fit our Leadership Model and only then do we progress to assessing their experience and capabilities. We look for soft skills, culture alignment and an expectation of excellence.

My early career in recruiting started at Aerotek, one of the biggest aerospace recruiters in the country. A few years later, I started my own firm, Tru Path (formerly Job Brokers Inc.), a company that grew 100% year-over-year for eight years, scaling to $50 million in revenue. 

We hired over 50,000 people across many different industries. Churn was often high, and I realized that to drive real growth in a company's culture, you have to start at the top.

So in 2012, I co-founded Y Scouts, the world’s first purpose-driven executive search firm. We work with dozens of industries, from fashion to fitness, medicine to manufacturing. 

My philosophy is simple: hire like your business depends on it — because it does.

Provides growth capital and facilities financing to charter schools nationwide. Ensuring schools have the money to improve on systems, procedures, and administration to experience growth. 

• Led the highest volume territories, AZ & CA, with annual revenue of $32MM
• Navigated a client from a one-time transaction of $750K to an $8,000,000 annual contract
• Orchestrated a new service product that was approved by CEO and Board of Directors for national distribution
• Collaborated with the marketing team on sales and marketing strategies and collateral

Softtware Technology Group

A software development firm selling SaaS innovation. Worked directly with the President to develop and implement sales and communication strategies. Liaison between client and developers ensuring finished product exceeded expectations. 

• Led marketing campaign winning Portland Business Journal’s 2016 Small Business Award
• Conceptualized and facilitated the product development of security software for the retail industry that resulted in the formation of a sister company to launch service 
• Managed Sharp, Biotronik, St. Jude Medical, Tektronix, and other major accounts 
• Signed Tektronix in my first nine months to a three-year contract

• President Club Winner with 124% goal attainment 
• Conceptualized, co-designed, and pitched, Tech Spotlight, an advertising option that landed the main sponsor for the construction industry top event of the year and a year-long contract with a client my peers had pursued for five years 
• Managed the City of Portland, Energy Trust of Oregon, and other premier companies 
• Saved and upsold Ford Trucks, using client conflict resolution, after the client threatened to drop advertising with a co-worker. Saved company $100,000 in revenue
