Strategic Planning and Execution:
Managed 1-year, 5-year, and 10-year strategic plans to focus investments, set performance targets, and balance staff bandwidth. Established integrated company scorecard to measure weekly performance and provide visibility into future risks. Facilitated relationship breakdowns and strong opinions of executive team members to forward company goals. Established communication and accountability structure with Director team to create consistent communication and promote company-wide transparency.

Internal Operations:
Restructured internal Contracts, IT, and Accounting departments to provide additional leadership which reduced errors and increased delivery team performance. Created company-wide recruiting process, including core values, that increased retention and onboarded incredibly talented staff. Drove successful adoption of corporate knowledge management system which became the singular view into company operations. This enabled the company to achieve CMMI Level 2, CMMI Level 3, and ISO 9001 certifications.

Delivery and Business Development:
Coached delivery Directors to discover new ways to manage challenging client, employee, and executive engagements. Built partnerships with client executives to stay aware of their needs and to act internally to fill any gaps in their customer experience. Accountable for the submission of $140M proposal and sold additional projects during key contract gaps.

Strategic Planning and Process Improvement:
Established a three-year roadmap to resolve process and capability gaps across each department. Provided structured analysis to determine best fit and value with platform vendors and custom options. Negotiated vendor contracts to achieve 40%+ license discounts. Focused on healing and enhancing processes to get the most benefit from technical solutions.

Innovation and Architecture:
Implemented Tableau as a self-service analytics platform that enabled executives and managers to see and understand financial, resourcing, and performance data that was previously unavailable. Created a centralized knowledge management system using Salesforce with integration to DocuSign to create visibility into company-wide day-to-day activities and workload, while retaining best practices and lessons learned. Rearchitected the Microsoft Dynamics data model to have it match how operations functioned.

Staff Engagement, Business Development, and Adoption:
Created a forum for discussing process breakdowns and desired improvements to give people a constructive place to voice pain points and provide input to solutions. Met with clients, prospects, and partners to demonstrate what was possible using solutions we had built to generate new sales. Established deeply trusting relationships across departments to have candid conversations, get support, and promote adoption of created tools and processes.

Director, Technology and Innovation

Solution Implementation and Client Engagement:
Architected, created governance, and led the development team for a 15,000-user Salesforce implementation, which eliminated legacy applications and modernized organizational capabilities. Implemented and maintained 15 cloud-based Salesforce, SharePoint, and Azure systems through agile practices. Participating stakeholder communities include the federal government, higher education, commercial real estate, finance, and involved major industry players such as Clorox and Walmart. Achieved 95% customer satisfaction across clients by balancing stakeholder needs with providing recommendations focused on long-term success and security, even when it seemed unfavorable.

Strategic Planning and Portfolio Management:
Implemented an integrated platform strategy for a major federal agency to consolidate legacy systems and practices. This strategy was the driving vision behind the decision to acquire Salesforce.com as an agency platform solution. Coached senior leaders on strategy and acquisition of Platform-as-a-Solution products, including negotiations of Salesforce license agreements to make sure purchases provided value. Created business cases for clients to request additional funding, enabling them to capture over $3M in additional budget for their initiatives.

Talent Development and Resource Management:
Grew a team of two into a team of 20 with a contract portfolio of $30M+. Created a 25-30% profit margin each year. Conducted ongoing manager training aimed at being authentic and direct to increase management skills beyond delivery. Reviewed more than 100 request for proposals (RFPs), maintained a 62% proposal win rate, and evaluated sub-contractor capabilities to meet proposal requirements.

- Co-created portfolio management methodology for US Army to evaluate value of investments in terms of capability provided
