World travel

After years in the publishing and industrial automation world, I hit pause on the 9-to-5 and traded it in for a one-way ticket. What followed was a world tour that started in the buzz of Bangkok and took me through the heart of Southeast Asia, up into North Asia, across the Pacific, and all the way from Canada down to California, Mexico, Belize, and Guatemala.

Along the way, I picked up more than just passport stamps - like a scuba diving license, a deep sense of cultural empathy, the ability to dance to just about any kind of music, and a collection of “hellos” and “thank yous” in every local language I encountered. And that’s just scratching the surface.
