here’s exactly what I’d do first:

I’d stop treating “stuck” like a mystery.

I’d name the pattern.

Because most people aren’t inconsistent in random ways.
They’re consistent in the same few ways:

1. You wait until you feel ready.
2. You overthink the first step.
3. You collect tips instead of building a routine.
4. You start strong, then vanish when life gets busy.
5. You confuse “busy” with “progress.”
6. You judge yourself for not being consistent, so you avoid starting again.
7. You keep trying to fix it with willpower (and it keeps breaking at the same spot).

None of this means you’re broken.

It means your system is asking you to perform under pressure.
And pressure makes everything feel heavier than it is.

So I’d build one small default I can return to.
Not a new life.
A default.
