It isn’t just my perspective gleaned over 25 years working as an underwriter or leader or producer in the insurance industry that influences the work I do with individuals and organizations today - it’s all of the experiences I've collected in my 45 years of life – and the experience we all have simply being human. You know I love to talk about it! 

The project-based paid consulting work I do today includes:

I was able to open up the US for the Toronto Canada based startup.  I got myself and the company licensed in all 50 states before handing the responsibility off to a service provider.  I helped build out and decommission our US office.  I established cross-vertical partnerships with relevant software and Property Casualty partners.  I explored the use of Zapier and other tech to help extend our reach and distribution.

FINAEO is a Toronto Canada-based FinTech start-up.  They are building the Amazon of Insurance for financial planners, by digitizing the fabric of one of the oldest industries in the world.

Brett Fulmer is an Insurance agency Owner, Property Casualty Network recruiter, and Startup Advisor.  He's helped multiple venture-backed Insurance Startups enter the US, from Canada, Scotland, and Israel specifically.  His niche is combining real-world insurance sales experience with startup theory and concepts.  He also leads a Business to Business networking group in Orange County CA called Broker Brews, where he is passionate about building community.

Brett is a Zero to One specialist, often helping products and companies gain their first clients and iron out deal flow pipelines.  He has acted as a Designated Responsible Licensed Producer (DLPR) for multiple companies as well, helping set up national insurance sales projects and compliance.  He got himself and a client company licensed in all 50 states personally before handing off those needs to a consulting firm.  He has helped startups land deals with Top-20 brokerage firms and he's helped a number of agents get into the industry.
