Piper HQ

Dual role with a 50/50 split between Frontend Engineer and GTM consultant.

Frontend:

- Self-onboarded onto the codebase and self-taught TypeScript.
- Shipped multiple bug fixes to improve UX & convert pre-release testers into long-term users.
- Refactored 2 primary app components from SCSS to Tailwind to reduce technical debt.
- Designed and built a landing page in React/TS that enabled a successful GTM campaign with <1 week notice.
- Lots of small lessons, such as how to communicate well in code reviews, dealing with conflicts whilst rebasing and finer details of code deployment for a live, shipping product.

GTM:

- Ran outbound experiments to test messaging hypotheses and confirm ICP.
- Drove 5x WAUs in 6 weeks using social/content-driven strategies.
- Owned Customer Success, resulting in accounts I onboarded increasing their usage of the product 2-3x.

Engineering + GTM

Hopin

Worked on deals with SMB customers as part of the young sales team at this "start-up within a start-up". Worked to develop and refine our pitch and messaging to the enterprise offering as it launched.

Coached colleagues in other business units with talk tracks, video content, industry personas & more to enable them to increase average deal size by making deals multi-product with StreamYard + Hopin.

- Q3 attainment: 91%
- Q4 attainment: 131%

StreamYard Account Executive

Developed and refined my full sales cycle skills in a closing position. In role for just one quarter in which I achieved 147% quota achievement, the highest on my team, before being promoted to the newly formed StreamYard team.

Commercial Account Executive

As the 4th SDR hire at Hopin, I had the pleasure of watching the SDR/BDR org grow to close to 100 team members before being promoted to a closing role.

- At the time of promotion, was in the top 5% of SDRs at the company in metrics such as SQLs generated, and conversion rate of SQOs to closed-won opportunities. Impact: my SQLs generated close to $300k in closed-won revenue for the company.
- Coached new SDR hires on our ICP, messaging and qualification/discovery technique. Impact: SDRs I coached are now top performers in the org.
- Wore many hats: built custom demos for Fortune 100 companies before the Sales Engineering team was spun up. Hosted live weekly events where I demo'd Hopin to 100+ prospects at a time to drive pipeline.
