I run Unchartered and I know that sounds like a boating company. But it's just a play on words of my last name.

My job is to connect the dots no one else sees and keep clients a few steps ahead of risks/threats.

Most of what Unchartered does is untangle the messy stuff: fraud, foreign fronts, sanction violations, geopolitical risk, threats, breaches of privacy and security, reputational risks, cybercrime, and more.

Outside of work, I'm a husband and father of three. I love to grill stuff, read a lot of books, run, go to the gym, write, and learn random facts. 

For example, did you know that Kuş dili (“bird language”) is a whistled version of Turkish used in Kuşköy, a small mountain village in northern Turkey’s Black Sea region. Instead of words, villagers use high-pitched whistles to mimic the pitch and rhythm of spoken Turkish syllables.
