The Naval Hospital brings a variety of patients from DM to underweight and obesity.  I work one on one with all types of patients in need of medical nutrition therapy both inpatient and outpatient.  I have been the department head on and off for the past two years.  On a daily basis, I see on average about six outpatients and three to eight  inpatients while working on special projects and other naval responsibilities.
