Cartier ha compartido una magistral pieza de comunicación: sus icónicas panteras recorriendo una boutique, interactuando con el espacio, con la marca, con su propio universo. Muy Navidad, si. Pero no es una simple campaña estacional. Es una demostración de estrategia.
 
La pantera no es un recurso creativo puntual. Es un símbolo construido con intención desde mediados del siglo pasado, cuando Jeanne Toussaint la convirtió en la encarnación del carácter de la Maison: fuerza, elegancia, independencia. El primer gran desarrollo de producto fue una joya creada para la Duquesa de Windsor: Una pantera, esculpida con precisión, posada sobre un zafiro de gran tamaño. Había nacido el símbolo. Desde entonces, Cartier no ha abandonado al felino. La ha cultivado: joyas, relojes, libros, arquitectura de boutique, narrativa visual. Cuando yo era directivo en Oriente Medio, la Maison celebró el Ramadán 2020 con su campaña “A New Dawn”: la pantera observaba, en silencio, la monumentalidad del desierto de AlUla, en Arabia Saudí. Una escena contenida, poderosa, profundamente simbólica.
 
Todo habla el mismo idioma. Eso es consistencia simbólica. Y es una de las palancas más poderosas del lujo.
