Client Account Manager

I’m HelpingSaaS help their customers by creating Knowledge Bases and writing useful Product Content. I work within the confluence of product content, customer success, and UX, blending with the team and its way of working. 

I conduct deep research about the product and audit the existing KB. Then, I ideate the structure, map out the content, and write highly detailed tutorials featuring GIFs, images, and videos. Then, we work on standardizing the product language and improving the UI for a better UX.

My goal is to provide highly useful content for the customers to get the most out of the product,  reduce inbound contacts to the Customer Support team, and promote a self-serve mentality that enables scalability without compromising customer satisfaction.

I was in charge of the monthly newsletter. I reactivated the blog, optimized it for SEO, wrote plenty of articles, guides, and interviews with experts. I created the Company Guidelines of the brand. I reviewed and improved the copywriting site-wide, in French, English and Spanish, optimized for SEO. 

I contributed with the graphic design (infographics, images, schemes) and introduced improvements in the UI/UX of the platform, that were put in practice after my departure.

I contributed a great deal in operations, processes and group dynamics. I was in charge of interviewing freelancers and full-time contractors.

Also: I helped with Customer Support by phone, char and email in English, Spanish and French. I improved processes in User.com (automation), designed the email marketing strategy and created the Knowledge Base. I also crafted +10 video tutorials for our YouTube channel.

I was the first and almost only channel for investors to know and follow up their investments. Money is one of the most sensitive topics to deal with: in my job I constantly managed with frustration, confusion, fear and even anger. It gave (and still gives) me a great satisfaction to be our investors anker and person of trust. Also I managed the day-to-day cash, did customer support and compliance. handled operations in the digital platform, and was in charge of the weekly newsletter.

I was in charge of onboarding customers to our platform and guiding them all the way during their life cycle. I was in constant search of innovative ways and features to improve their experience and to reduce the churn rate. Also, I was in charge of operations, troubleshooting and reporting to our developers as well as working hand in hand with them to optimize the user experience. To my CEO I was the porte-parole of our customers, giving him insight into what they were demanding from us.

✨ Picked up my color pencils after ages, and I'm surprised at how hard it was to stay focused on the page. 

As a child, I would finish coloring book after coloring book, much to the exasperation of my parents who didn't think it was a productive activity but were indulgent enough to let me continue.

But now I kept fighting the urge to check my phone, looking for phantom notifications. I also agonized over which colors would look good together, and which ones would clash - as if I was coloring for an audience. (Maybe I was thinking about posting the finished piece on LinkedIn?)

The young me wouldn't think twice about the choice of colors. I would just let myself go with the flow.

This obsession with being "productive" all the time and seeking validation for every little task didn't always exist - at least for me. Years of scrolling through social media apps looking for my next dopamine hit seem to have done the damage. Ironic that I'm posting about it here, isn't it?

Coloring is supposed to help your brain develop focus. So here's me signing off for some quiet time with my color pencils, hoping to rediscover my love of coloring books. And no, I won't post the finished mandala here.

✨ New day, new marketing term = Content Chameleoning

It's about adapting your message to match each platform's culture, tone, and user behavior. 

a.k.a content repurposing done well, with platform-specific adaptation instead of taking a "same message, different wrapper" approach

A few learnings that I thought would be useful to share:

💡 Two words that crush objections: "Even if"

Formula: [Desirable outcome] even if [objection]

Example:  

“Sell more online—even if you haven’t written a word since high school.”


💡 The You Rule:

Your copy isn’t about you. It’s about your audience.

Rewrite sentences to start with “You” or “Your.”

Example:

 ❌ “We offer virtual checkups.”

 ✅ “You can book a free 5-min virtual checkup today.”

 Small tweak. Big relevance.


💡 The PAS Framework 

Want copy that converts? Start with pain.

PAS = Problem → Agitation → Solution.

Example: 

For a vet clinic:

 ❌ “Book a checkup today.”

 ✅   

“Tired of rushed, impersonal vet visits? 
Waiting for hours only to see a stranger? 
Try Happy Pets—where everyone knows your pet’s name.”

✨ "Kids these days..."

I saw this ad in the paper today.

Instead of selling features (exam results, curriculum, teacher:student ratios, facilities), Orchids school positions itself as an ally that "gets" parental anxieties. It enters a conversation that parents are already having - with guilt and exhaustion. 

Notably, the ad reframes children's behaviors as symptoms of a larger systemic issue. It's not "your child has issues. Here's how to discipline them." It's "kids these days face these pressures. We understand, and here's why it happens."

While it acknowledges the less-than-flattering labels that parents use - "anxious," "cranky," "oversmart," and "spoilt," it counters each one with a compassionate explanation. 

Phrases like "carrying the weight of tomorrow" and "the most resilient generation we've ever known" are over the top, but aim to recognize and  legitimize children's struggles. The tone here is preachy and heavy-handed, but it should still resonate with a section of parents who carry quiet guilt about whether they're doing enough for their children. 

💡 What I find most interesting is the rhetorical question - "Did we hand them this world without a manual?" It walks a thin line between making parents feel blamed while trying to make them feel understood. Let's hope that lands well with the target audience. 

The visual restraint is smart. Messaging around children tends to be overstimulating, colorful, and busy. But the ad's muted palette and controlled use of yellow to highlight certain words says, "We understand, and we're here to flip the script."

I also like the lack of an overt sell. Nowhere does Orchids make lofty promises about doing things differently. Just making parents feel seen instead of judged, the ad builds emotional connection, which will drive brand recall when it matters i.e. during admissions.

🚸 In a market where schools compete on exam results and infrastructure, positioning yourself as the ones who understand the emotional stakes is a differentiated play.

✨  copywriting = science + empathy

I took Joanna Wiebe's course, "Conversion Copywriting" on LinkedIn recently. 

Her three-step process for writing copy that converts is:

1️⃣ Research & Discovery: Dig into VOC (voice of customer) data.

2️⃣ Wireframe & Write: Copy leads design.

3️⃣ Validate & Experiment: Test before scaling.


Our customers are better copywriters than us. 

Instead of brainstorming clever headlines, we should mine VOC data—the actual words customers use when they talk about their problems, desires, and decisions.

Why? 

Because VOC reveals:

 ✅ What motivates people to buy

 ✅ What objections stop them

 ✅ What language feels authentic (and converts)


How to collect VOC:

✅ Surveys: Ask “What was going on in your life that brought you here today?”

✅Customer interviews: 5–7 calls can uncover gold.

✅Review mining: Search Amazon/Yelp reviews for products like yours. Look for phrases like “tired of…” or “finally found…”

✅Sales call recordings: Listen for patterns in objections and excitement.


So your next winning headline is probably hiding in a customer review, not in your brainstorm doc.

✨ Stop guessing. Start listening.

Joanna Wiebe shared an anecdote about testing headlines in her LinkedIn Learning course, "Conversion Copywriting."

She ran a split test for a rehab center homepage. 

The control headline: “Your addiction ends here.”

Her team tested three more:

 ✔ A stat about recovery

 ✔ A testimonial

 ✔ And one line pulled straight from an Amazon book review: “If you think you need rehab, you do.”

Guess which one crushed it?

 That last one—written by a customer, not a copywriter.

 Result: 400% more clicks.

Why did it win? 

Because it spoke in the raw, real language prospects actually use when they’re in pain and searching for help. That’s the magic of Voice of Customer (VOC).

✨ Moral of the story: 

Stop guessing what sounds good. Start listening to what customers say. 

Your next high-converting headline might already be out there—in a review, a survey, or a sales call.
