I conduct deep research about the product and audit the existing KB. Then, I ideate the structure, map out the content, and write highly detailed tutorials featuring GIFs, images, and videos. Then, we work on standardizing the product language and improving the UI for a better UX.

I contributed with the graphic design (infographics, images, schemes) and introduced improvements in the UI/UX of the platform, that were put in practice after my departure.

I turned 26 last week (seems like I am getting old). You know a thing or two about me (SEO guy working in tech). Here's everything you might not know:

✅ How It All Started
I started my SEO journey back in my 2nd semester of university. It began with helping my brother’s business website, breaking my first client’s site (sorry, whoever you were), and building my own project to learn the ropes. One thing led to another, I landed an agency role, and the rest is history.

✅ What I Think About (When I’m Not Working)
I’ve always been drawn to ideas. I am very much into philosophy, reading non-fiction books, philosophical and tech podcasts, movies, and lifting weights.

But what really fascinates me these days is my own mind. I like breaking down my thoughts, dissecting my beliefs, and figuring out why I think the way I do. One of my favourite activities.

✅ What's My Social Circle Like?
I keep things tight. I’m deeply connected to my family, especially my two siblings. We’re three brothers, all in tech, each obsessed with our own craft. Different paths, but share the same fire.

✅ The Goal That Drives Me
I want to build massive wealth, but not be enslaved by it. I want to be world-class at what I do, but still grounded. I want to live at the intersection of wealth, competence, and purpose.

✅ Philosophies I Live By
→ Money won’t buy happiness, but it can help avoid pain.
→ Work-life balance is a myth; when you love what you do, work is part of life.
→ Everything that happens to you might not be your fault, but is your responsibility.
→ Feelings are signals, not instructions.
→ And reality isn’t good or bad until you judge it.

I also think about death a lot. As a filter, a reminder that if I don’t do what I want to do, I’ll leave this world with nothing. And on the flip side, once I’m gone, no one will care, which means none of this pressure really matters. It’s a freeing thought.

✅ How I Work
I’ve learned that I’m not the most organized person. I’ve tried the hacks, the tools, the systems, but most days still look like chaos to others. And that’s okay. Because I’m not an optimizer, I’m a brute-force kind of guy.

Even when I’m down, I’ll keep pushing until I break through. I’d rather volume my way forward than wait for the perfect system.

✅ What I Stand For
→ I’m a fan of hard work, stoicism, and consistency.
→ I believe in brute force over overthinking, and in proving that you can be both competent and kind.
→ In a world that glorifies “talented jerks,” I want to be the opposite, someone who’s great at what they do without losing their decency.

✅ What I’m Not A Fan Of
→ Hedonism: pleasure without meaning is empty.
→ Materialism: no one on their deathbed wishes for another Rolex.
→ Dependence on routines: discipline is valuable, rigidity isn’t.
→ Mediocrity: “normal” is just another word for average.
→ And balance:  greatness demands imbalance, and I’ve made peace with that.

Next week, their revenue suddenly spiked.

The team celebrated: “Our JavaScript cleanup did it!”

Except… we didn't take into account that the same week, the company had announced a $20M Series A.

Their brand exploded across tech press and social channels.

That “SEO win” had nothing to do with SEO; it was PR, awareness, and growth in branded demand.

But we still took the credit.

That's when I learned that the attribution bias in the SEO world is wild.

Hot take: TOFU isn’t broken.

Your definition of TOFU is.

Everyone keeps saying: “Skip top-of-funnel. Only target BOFU keywords. That’s where the money is.”

But that advice never clicked for me, because most people treat TOFU like “What is SEO?” or “What is email marketing?”

And yes… those topics get traffic.

But it’s the wrong traffic.

Interns.
Students.
People who were never going to buy from you.

So they decide TOFU is useless.

But here’s the truth: TOFU doesn’t mean ‘what is.’

It doesn’t mean fluff.

And it definitely doesn’t mean irrelevant visitors.

TOFU only works when you define it based on your buyer.

If you sell to a Director of Marketing, “what is email marketing” isn’t TOFU. They learned that a decade ago.

Their real TOFU looks more like:
➜ How CMOs measure marketing efficiency in a down market
 ➜ Frameworks for reporting content ROI to the board
 ➜ When to build an in-house marketing team vs hiring an agency

Still early-stage.
Still discovery.
But aligned with the right buyer.

That’s why I never bought the “kill TOFU” narrative.

TOFU isn’t the problem.

Misaligned TOFU is.

If your top-of-funnel attracts the wrong audience, it will always feel like a waste.

But if it attracts your ICP at the start of their journey?

That’s where real demand capture begins.

Over the last few months, I’ve been deep in the weeds studying one question:

What makes certain brands show up more often inside LLMs like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Claude?

I looked at dozens of client projects, tracking prompt-level citations, branded search trends, and domain performance.

And here’s what stood out 👇

When it comes to LLM visibility, the brands getting mentioned the most aren’t necessarily the ones ranking highest in Google.

In fact, some of them don’t even appear on the first page.

What they do have, however, is dominant brand exposure across the SERPs:

→ They’re mentioned in multiple listicles.
→ They’re reviewed by top aggregators.
→ They show up in Reddit and Quora discussions.
→ They’re cited by third-party review sites.

That consistent exposure across different listings and sources creates what I call a brand echo effect, and that’s what LLMs pick up on when deciding who to cite.

Because LLMs don’t think in rankings. They think in patterns and associations.

They build brand-level associations based on frequency and relevance of mentions across the web.

So if your brand appears across multiple credible contexts for a topic, you’re more likely to be included in an AI response, even if you’re not #1 on Google.

This approach already has a name: Surround Sound SEO.

It’s not new, but it’s becoming one of the most powerful levers for AI search visibility.

Whenever someone asks me on a client call, “What do you think of AI content?”,  I pause.

Because before I answer, I need to know what they mean by “AI content.”

See, that term covers an entire spectrum.

On one end, you’ve got what I call AI slop, one-click, regurgitated text pulled from the SERPs.

No unique POV.

No original insights.

Just average content built from other average content.

It might check a few “keyword optimization” boxes, but it’s not customer-optimized.

Not even close.

On the other end, you’ve got elite output. 

Content that integrates: 
SME insights
Customer interviews
Proprietary data
Company’s unique POV
And messaging guidelines.

AI becomes a co-pilot, not a writer.

You still use SERP analysis, but you use it to add a final optimization layer, not to mimic others.

Then the human editor takes over, shaping, refining, and pushing quality to an extraordinary level.

The problem is: both extremes get labeled “AI content.”

So when people say “AI content doesn’t work,” they’re usually talking about the first kind.

Every single time I’ve used AI in client projects, including large-scale programs for multi-billion-dollar companies, we’ve seen success.

Why?

Because it wasn’t “AI-generated content.”

It was AI-assisted creation with an extremely high bar for expertise and unique insights.

So, before you decide whether “AI content” works, ask yourself which version of it you’re talking about.

PS: Seriously considering avoiding the term "AI content" and referring to it rather "engineered content" (that's the closer description of what I mean by using AI).

Google just dropped a feature in Search Console that SEOs have long been expecting.

Branded vs. non-branded queries. Separated.

Finally.

Here’s why this matters (and why I’m excited about it):

Google is using AI to classify branded queries, not simple keyword matching.

This is the most important part of the update.

Google isn’t identifying branded queries using regex, keyword rules, or manual inputs.

According to the release, branded vs. non-branded is determined by an internal AI-assisted system, meaning it evaluates intent, not just literal keyword matching.
 
That means the system can:
→ Understand your brand name across languages
→ Catch misspellings and variations
→ Identify brand-related products or services
→ Recognize queries that refer to your brand without naming it

Some queries may be misclassified occasionally, and Google openly acknowledges this, but the tradeoff is a far more intelligent, scalable way to segment traffic.
 
A few limitations you should know:

✅ 1) Only top-level properties are supported:
Path-level and some subdomain properties won’t show the filter yet.

✅ 2) Your site needs enough data:
The filter only appears for sites with sufficient query volume for Google’s AI signals.
 
✅ 3) Misclassification can happen
Because the system is dynamic and intent-driven, some queries will inevitably be labeled incorrectly at times.
