My name is Mitch Clements, and I specialize in product vision, strategy, storytelling, and building design teams to drive business results.

With a diverse career background as a developer, product manager, and designer, I bring a unique perspective as a Product Design Leader. I thrive in leading companies through exponential growth while simultaneously prioritizing profitability and innovation at an enterprise level. Currently serving as a Senior Product Design Manager at nCino, I collaborate closely with the leadership team to establish the product vision and strategy for our mortgage portfolio. Overseeing 22 cross-functional teams, our collective efforts impact 1 in 3 U.S. mortgage loans, serving over 10 million users.

Additionally, I am deeply passionate about fostering the design community. I regularly speak at design conferences, spearheaded a product mentorship program connecting 500+ mentees with mentors, and regularly contribute to discussions here on LinkedIn (with an audience of 50K+ designers).

I know games.  I have designed over 100 tabletop games (analog) in my life, including a number of tabletop games that were published. I also have extensive knowledge of videogames (digital) and have had years of experience connected with online community management, including the creation of a non-profit organization for gamers. In regards to several questions you may have:
1. I use "they" as a preferred gender because my focus is on what I can do professionally, not my genetics or what I identify as personally.  My being male should have zero impact on what I do professionally.
2. I am dressed as a Ninja in my profile for several reasons. The first is that it connects with my prior reason as for using "they".  Second, the only recent photos I have of myself are masked and the most interesting photo is that of myself as a Ninja.  There are other reasons connected to this, such as public identity protection (using my personal appearance to verify who I am), and having unique personal branding, but the first two are the main reasons.
