In Nov 2023, I got my first International payment 💸from LinkedIn

Today, I am building my agency, Shiva Socials.

It wasn’t just €50.

It was a moment that I’ll never forget. It was a sign that all my effort, sleepless nights, and self-doubt had finally paid off.

I still can't forget that day, as I showed my PayPal balance to my mum, who was skeptical about "How I was wasting my time on LinkedIn."

She got too happy and then told me to wash the dishes, lol 😭😂

Okay, coming back to my story...

It was a huge day for me because of a stranger:

- Who believed in me 
- Who trusted my skills and 
- Who allowed me to prove myself

Unlike my relatives, who saw my potential after hitting 10K followers on LinkedIn lol :)

To many, €50 might not seem like anything.
But to me, it was everything.

Because it wasn’t about the money, it was about the trust it brought to me

As it came when:

I spent months showing up on LinkedIn, 
I was posting consistently, with little to no engagement.
I questioned whether I was even good enough to charge for my work.

There were days when I wanted to quit, but something inside me told me to keep going.

That first payment wasn’t just a win; it was my breakthrough that I've been building over the last 2.5 years.

And today?

 → I run my own agency.
 → I’ve worked with clients from the US, UK, and UAE, too.
 → I’ve scaled my income beyond what I ever thought was possible.

That first €50 taught me something invaluable, i.e. 

"You don’t have to wait for perfection. You just have to start"

So, to anyone still waiting for their BIG break, read this:

It’s okay to start small. Every little step counts. Keep showing up, keep learning, and trust the process.

And to the client who trusted me first, thank you ( I know you might not be reading, as you hired me to write jokes and now I don't write jokes anymore)

You gave me more than just a project; you gave me confidence in myself.

Here’s to chasing dreams, one milestone at a time. 2025 was a huge year for me👋

Here's how I saved my writing business by NOT being a "WRITER"

After I saw a reckless decline in my writing Gigs, 

I pivoted to content strategy, lead generation, and full-growth management.

And then, instead of getting fired by my clients, 

Because of "THE CHATGPT"

I started getting more referrals, more work, and retainer projects.

As I started my writing journey in 2022, yes, the same year when ChatGPT was launched.

I was damn sure that this would come, so I made up my mind already for this.

Now?

My clients don't just hire me for writing (it's just a small part, tho now)

They hire me for:

- editing their content
- creating their content strategy
- starting their conversations and DMs
- choosing the best graphic format for VIRALITY
- creating a system for LinkedIn and other social media platforms

Because, if I didn't, my client won't be saying this today...coz he knows what I bring to the table, when AI is eating writers without even roasting lol :)

P.S. Tomorrow, I'll share how one of my clients, a Tech founder from Switzerland, recently went massive VIRAL on LinkedIn with 400K impressions and 1000+ followers from a single post.

P.P.S. How do you save your business?

I never taught DM outreach to someone on a monthly basis 🙂 

But, this month I thought about coming out of my comfort zone and giving it a try 👇 

And, here's what my client texted me.

"It's worth every penny 😌"

Back then in 2022, I used to send funny messages and was getting connected easily.

I applied the same outreach for my clients with:

- no pitch
- no sales messages
- no trying to push services 

And, results?

I started seeing people either laughing with my messages or saying it's the best way to outreach.

I learned the hard way that nobody likes direct sales messages, maybe the response is too fast, either yes or no.

But, this doesn't help you to close high ticket clients.

And, this is the same technique I started sharing with my new client, and he got good openers.

Change your content type, here's how 🡣

If you're posting both these formats, then

So, what's the logic behind it?

"It's just that what works for others might not work for you."

That's what my client (a Swiss Tech Founder) did, 

We sat together and then structured this post, and the results?

- 400K Impressions
- 1000+ followers from a single post
- 500+ comments from global regions

And, more than this:

"He also got 2-4 leads, and he wasn't even selling anything, he just started to build his personal brand."

Feels crazy, right?

Yes, I was also stunned by this.

So, in short: Treat your content like an element in the lab, after a few blasts and fails, but one day, one will blow up for sure.

2) Consistency with intent.
Publish Monday–Friday. Evaluate every 10 days. Keep what works. Kill everything else.

3) Message testing before anything.
We test angles, hooks, and narratives through content first, so his product launch becomes faster, easier, and with more attention.

And guess what?

It’s working.

He went from 2.1k → 5.4k followers in just 49 days, inbound leads started appearing, and his visibility curve shot up.

And, he’s texting me things like:

“Looking to your feedback.”
 “We need to break LinkedIn.”

That’s when you know a founder gets it.

The landscape has changed.

You need attention and hype before you launch as a founder.

So, be the one who shows up early with clarity, consistency, and the right framework, and you pull ahead fast.
