To this day, I’ve built 20+ tech ventures, driven by curiosity and a passion for turning my ideas into reality.

It all started when I was just a kid, building computers with my dad and figuring out how technology could solve problems.

At 17, I launched my first startup and learned early on what it takes to build, adapt, and keep moving forward.

Since then, I’ve worked across industries, like mobility, fintech, cyber security, and more—constantly challenging myself to find better ways to create value.

Today, I lead DECAID Group, a community-based company group at the forefront of generative AI innovation.

I’ve always believed AI would completely reshape how we work, and DECAID is set to guide companies through that transformation.

Europe is not losing to the US.
You are just looking at the wrong scoreboard.

The viral EU vs US image makes one clear point:
on daily life outcomes, Europe outperforms the US.

Here is what the data in that graphic highlights:

→ Life expectancy: 82 vs 78 years
→ Infant mortality (per 1,000): 3.3 vs 5.6
→ Homicides (per 100k): 2 vs 5
→ Prison population (per 100k): 111 vs 531

Lower inequality and stronger safety:

→ Poverty (below 50% median income): 15% vs 18%
→ Top 1% wealth share: ~25% vs 40%
→ Student debt: ~€0 vs ~$40k
→ Women in workforce: 71% vs 57%

The message: Europe turns income into social stability with high efficiency.

The image has real strengths:

- It moves beyond GDP into outcomes that shape daily life
- It uses per-capita metrics, not raw size
- It focuses on long-term resilience: trust, health, safety, cohesion

However, as someone who works on innovation, talent, and education, I see what is missing:

- No view on productivity, GDP per capita, VC intensity
- No signal on startup creation or scaling speed
- No nuance on education: tax-funded in Europe vs high-earnings premium in the US
- No distinction between EU averages and regional gaps

The deeper story looks like this:

→ Europe optimises for resilience.
→ The US optimises for velocity.

In a world shaped by AI, climate, and demographic shocks, resilience is not a “nice to have”.
It is a competitive asset.

Europe is not failing.
Europe is under-utilising its strongest asset: a stable, educated, relatively equal base.

With better innovation execution, Europe can keep these social outcomes
and still close the gap on growth and technology.
