I’m on a journey to read 150 books and learn from the experiences of 500 people. I use the insights I’ve gained, combined with my journey in Australia, to share my thoughts on LinkedIn.

My purpose is to add value to people’s lives by paying it forward through writing. My mission is to reshape how migrants perceive their journey using the power of storytelling.

My Story:

I grew up in Mumbai, India, where cricket thrives, but other sports struggle. I dreamed of becoming an athlete, but lacked the courage and relentless discipline to pursue it. Instead, I took the safer path—doing well in academics, earning a bachelor's in Computer Engineering, and securing an IT job.

In 2017, I left my promising IT career to follow my passion for sports. I pursued a Master’s in Sports Management at Deakin University to develop the skills needed for a meaningful career in sports. I made this leap because I felt stuck and couldn’t see myself in IT any longer.

Deep down, I always knew I wanted to work in sports. After much reflection, I finally found the courage to leave my comfort zone, embrace resilience and patience, and work toward making an impact in the field.

Since then, I’ve gained experience in both IT and sports. I worked as an IT consultant with Techsa Services in India and am currently a Project Officer at the Office for Recreation, Sport and Racing in Adelaide.

I bring 5+ years of experience in computer networks and IT administration and 4 years in sports administration, coaching, and development. As a sports management professional, I’m passionate about inspiring people to lead active lives and motivating elite athletes to unlock their full potential.

Beyond work, I love playing soccer and cricket, whether in a competitive club match or a casual game with friends. I also enjoy coaching, reading books, and watching action anime. I’m passionate about helping people build reading habits and express themselves effectively.

She said those words. Then she boarded the plane anyway.

March 2026. Dubai was burning.

Massive explosions had ripped through the city. Fire and smoke visible from miles away. Panic everywhere. 169 Indians - stranded, terrified, desperate to get home.

Air India Express needed a crew to fly into that chaos.

Cutting it off the moment a recharge lapses is not a billing policy. It is a hostage situation designed to force desperate recharges from people who can least afford to panic.

And here is what makes it a clean racket. Every operator does it. There is nowhere to go. No competitor keeping incoming calls alive. No one offering a genuine 30-day plan. The entire market moves in lockstep and the subscriber absorbs the cost without ever seeing it on a bill.

Your electricity follows a calendar month. Your rent follows a calendar month. Your salary follows a calendar month.

Only your phone company gets to decide that a month has 28 days. And charge you for the math.

For the first time in 50 years, the United States is planning a new oil refinery - and it’s not happening without India.

Reliance Industries is set to partner on a $300 billion oil refinery in Texas, a project announced by Donald Trump.

Trump even called it “the biggest in U.S. history.”

But the real question is 👇
If the U.S. is one of the world’s largest energy producers… why does it need an Indian company to build its biggest refinery?

Some see this as a massive win for India’s global business power.
Others say it shows how dependent global energy projects have become on a few giant corporations.

Salesforce fired 4,000 support staff. Replaced them with AI. 

Then quietly admitted it was a mistake.

AI responses were inaccurate. Complex cases took longer. Remaining staff spent more time correcting AI than serving customers. Institutional knowledge was gone.

And Salesforce is not alone.

Microsoft cut 15,000 jobs citing AI efficiencies. Meta laid off 3,600. Klarna replaced 700 customer service staff then faced a surge in quality complaints. 

Same pattern everywhere. Fire humans fast. Discover AI limitations slowly.
Here is what the data actually says.

Only 17% of workers say AI is reliable without human oversight. After AI adoption, email time went up 104% and messaging increased 145%. Workers are spending more time verifying AI output than they saved by using it.

The companies winning with AI are not the ones that eliminated the most people. They kept their best people and gave them better tools.

AI is not a replacement strategy. It is a leverage strategy.

Your boss can go to jail for making you work 10 hours a day.

Most bosses don't know this. Most employees don't either. And that ignorance is exactly what makes the exploitation so easy.

What Indian Law Actually Says:
Under the Factories Act 1948 - maximum 9 hours a day and 48 hours a week. Anything beyond that must be paid at double the wage. After every 5 hours of work you get a mandatory 30 minute break. One full day off every week. No exceptions.

If Your Boss Ignores then he can be jailed Up to 2 years plus ₹1 lakh fine. Repeat violations attract ₹1,000 additional penalty every single day. In unsafe conditions the punishment goes up to 7 years jail plus ₹2 lakh fine.

What Actually Happens in Reality- Nothing. Because most workers don't know these rights exist.

Crores of Indians work 12 to 14 hours daily. No overtime. No breaks. No complaints - because complaining means losing the job. We built a culture where staying late is dedication and leaving on time is attitude.

India loses an estimated 12 to 15 working years per person to stress related illness. Burnout. Heart disease. Broken families. These are not personal failures. They are the price of a system nobody is holding accountable.

What You Can Do Right Now: File a complaint with your state Labour Commissioner or call the Ministry of Labour helpline at 1800-11-4444. Complaints can be anonymous.

Share this with someone who works 12 hours a day and has never once been told the law was on their side.

A war started in the Middle East. 330 million Indian families are now worried about cooking dinner.

Let that sink in.

The rich continue to get richer by such wars. Trump is an opportunist but India didn't start this war. India has no vote in Washington or Tel Aviv. And yet -we are paying the price. Every single day.

Here's what's actually happening on the ground:
1. 90% of India's LPG imports pass through the Strait of Hormuz - the same water body now disrupted by US-Iran conflict.

2. LPG cylinder prices jumped ₹60 overnight for households. ₹115 for commercial users.

3. Black market cylinders selling at ₹3,000

4. Restaurants shutting down across Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai.

5. 10 crore Ujjwala households - India's poorest - rationed to one cylinder a month.

Meanwhile - the global weapons industry just recorded its best quarter in years. 
This is the oldest story in the world.

Wars are never just about ideology. They are about who controls energy, trade routes, and money. 

Every missile fired drives up oil futures. Every blocked shipping lane makes someone, somewhere, extremely rich.

The woman in Chandigarh who said "Thank God I got my cylinder yesterday" - should not have to feel lucky about cooking her family's dinner.

This isn't just a geopolitical issue. It's a kitchen table issue. A sovereignty issue. An Indian issue.

Until we build real energy independence - every war fought near the Gulf is also a war fought in every Indian home.

Your flight just got more expensive. Today.

From March 14, IndiGo is adding ₹425 to ₹2,300 as fuel surcharge on every single ticket. Air India did the same on March 10. Same week. Different airline. Same passenger paying the price.

The reason given is real. Aviation fuel has jumped 85% since the Iran conflict disrupted Gulf supply routes. Fuel makes up 40% of an airline's operating cost. The math checks out.

But here is the pattern nobody talks about.

Every time there is a crisis - COVID, oil spike, war, rupee fall - airlines raise fares within 24 hours. Fast. No debate. Done.

But when crude oil dropped from $120 to $70 between 2022 and 2024, did your ticket price drop? Did the surcharge disappear? Did any airline send a message saying "we are passing the savings back to you"?

You already know the answer.

Price hikes travel to your pocket at lightning speed. Savings never make the return journey.

And here is the harder truth. Air travel in India was never truly affordable for most people. Today a family of four flying Delhi to Mumbai pays ₹7,000 extra just in fuel surcharges - before baggage, meals or seat selection. 

That is a monthly grocery bill for millions of Indian families.

80% of Indians have never boarded a flight. Not because they do not want to. Because they cannot afford to. And every surcharge like this pushes that dream a little further away.

Airlines have a genuine problem with fuel costs right now. That is fair to say.

But it is also fair to say that a crisis has always been the best cover for a price hike that quietly never reverses.

A room full of Hollywood's biggest names sat silent at the Golden Globes when a fellow actor stood up for Palestine.

Only one person became the story the next morning.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas - who smiled politely, as any professional would in a live televised moment - was suddenly the villain. Bollywood PR activated. Twitter dragged her. Dhruv Rathee made a full video. Thousands of comments about how she should have done more.

Let me ask a simple question.
Name one Hollywood A-lister who stood up at an awards ceremony for Hindus being killed in Bangladesh. Name one Western celebrity who made a viral video about the minorities being burned out of their homes there. Name one late night host who covered it with the same urgency.

I will wait.
The silence from the West on Bangladesh is not because they do not care. It is because they genuinely do not have the full picture. Information asymmetry is real. Media coverage is selective. And people can only react to what they know.
So why is Priyanka held to a different standard?

She is an Indian woman sitting in a room at one of Hollywood's biggest nights. She did not look away. She did not walk out. She sat with grace in an uncomfortable moment - the way most professionals would.

Was she supposed to grab the microphone? Start a chant? Walk off camera?
The same people who say celebrities should stay out of politics are the first ones demanding celebrities perform their politics on a live stage on cue.

Priyanka Chopra has spent years building a bridge between two industries, two cultures, and two very different worldviews. She navigates spaces most Indians cannot even get into. That deserves at least the same grace she showed in that room.

You can disagree with her choices. You can wish she had said something. That is a fair conversation.

But calling her embarrassing for smiling? That is not accountability. That is just a pile-on looking for a face to put on it.

She deserved better from her own people that night.

Double standards are loudest when they are aimed at successful women. Notice that.
