Dec 2009- Dec 2013: Hands on leadership for multi-discipline teams including program management responsibility for all "Advertiser" facing offerings from AdCentre: Web Offering, API offering and Desktop. Managed a portfolio of horizontol services that span Bing Paid Ads and Display Businesses. Direct responsibility for managing a multi discipline team. Primary engineering point of contact for the Yahoo!-Microsoft Deal for Ads transition.

Dec 2013 - Aug 2015:  Managed multiple teams in Big Data & Machine Learning Group, Cloud Based SaaS play for Business Productivity.

Director/Group Manager (Various - CRM, Bing, Azure)

Responsible for vision, architecture and execution aspects. Implemented innovative concepts which helped seed a product in a new category with Microsoft Office packaging.

In this role I managed a team of ~25 developers.

Principal Development Manager, CRM

Managed a highly technical group of software developers and played a key role in shipping a V1 software product. Design, architecture and advanced coding skills for software that ships in volume.

Senior Lead Developer, CRM

Worked as a developer and lead in various product groups including Microsoft Windows, Microsoft bCentral, Microsoft Business Solutions and Microsoft Office.

Developed solid technical skills and deep understanding of client as well as internet technologies and software languages.

From 1965 to 2024, under his leadership, Berkshire Hathaway compounded at roughly 19.9% annually. 

Over the same period, the S&P 500 (with dividends) returned about 10.4%. 

The difference in absolute:
Berkeshire: 5,502,284% (over ~60 years) vs S&P:  39,054%  (over ~60 years)

That gap doesn’t come from genius moments. It comes from decades of disciplined consistency.

Buffett’s real legacy isn’t stock picking. It’s how relentlessly he played the long game:

→He optimized for durability, not excitement.
→He avoided complexity he didn’t understand, even when it was fashionable.
→He let time do the heavy lifting, compound trust, judgment & capital quietly
→He stayed grounded in first principles, not cycles or headlines.

Most people want outcomes that show up fast, but Buffett built outcomes that showed up eventually and permanently. That’s a rare kind of patience. And an even rarer kind of conviction.

When you start a company - there is no finish line. You are building a long lasting enduring institution that should compound forever. 

Legends aren’t made by intensity. They’re made by staying power.
