My entrepreneurial journey started at 14, making music on a beat-up computer I rebuilt myself.

Then Mike showed up.

A young computer engineer who heard my tracks and believed in me so much he started a small label around what I was creating.

That became my first education in raising capital, marketing, distribution, and sales.

We brought in 4 other neighborhood kids to help record, print, press and sell CDs.

Mike kept us in the studio after school focused, encouraged, and off the streets.

Today, every kid from that group runs a legitimate business.

But most kids in our neighborhood didn’t get that chance. Most ended up incarcerated, dead, or on drugs. 

That’s why I go back to the juveniles and schools.

Because someone once invested in us, 
and it changed everything.
