"How the hell did you find this?"

It was 2016 and fifteen of my closest friends just joined up at a château in the south-west of France for a Thanksgiving meal. 

I had handled their trains, planes, and automobiles from eight different countries to help everyone arrive to a private 20-acre estate with a 13th century French château for the weekend. (It also had a 17th century wing)

As we were standing in the historic courtyard, gazing out on a beautiful autumnal scene, that's what my friend asked. I just laughed. It was what I loved doing – curating really cool experiences, and making it all feel effortless. Finding a really extraordinary venue was just part of the to-do list. 

My early career was in consulting: some in-house, some contract, almost entirely in B2B. I enjoyed it immensely and got to build a pretty cool business & show from 2021-2023. 

Now I own Alderhouse, a private travel office. We work with people who've been meaning to travel but keep putting it off – not because they can't afford it, but because planning feels like work. We learn how you move through the world, when you come alive, when you need space, how packed you like your days.  Then we compose everything (hotels, restaurants, experiences, transitions) around your rhythm. You make maybe three decisions total. We handle everything else, anywhere in the world.

Other little tidbits:
🥃 I love whisky - mostly Scotch.
🌮 I cannot get enough tacos in my life. I judge a taquería by its al pastor taco. 
📚 I read a lot and read widely.

I care most about surrounding myself with good people, and without sounding too serious about it, I try to treat people really well. Life's too short to be rude, selfish, and uncaring.
