It’s been 3 years of remote work….

(Here’s my No 1 advice to anyone building)

→ Invest back into your business.

For the longest time, I’ve been a Founder, Digital creator, Full-time remote worker 

Web3 boy and a student. 

But 8 months ago, every money I made…
went straight to: oble, food, more food, and emotional-support food. 😭

Not software. Not tools.Not even upskilling.
Just vibes and swallow.

And that’s when remote work humbled me.

- Remote work can make you money…
- but reinvesting is what makes you grow.

Here’s the advice I wish someone screamed in my ear earlier:

• Upgrade your tools before you upgrade your cravings.
• Improve your skills before you improve your lifestyle.
• Invest in efficiency… your future self will kneel down and thank you.

Remote work is sweet…
but if you eat your “equipment money,”

you’ll keep working like a caveman on a 2005 laptop. (Opps, that’s someone’s age)

It All Started Like This......

( My LinkedIn journey in 1 post ).

July 2023 I opened a LinkedIn account. I was just so ready to mine GOLD.  

- #1 post got 1 like, 0 comment. 
- Everyone overlooked my profile. 
- I sent DMs that were left on "Read." 
- My offers got 0 sales and lots of No's. 
- Spent hours writing post nobody cared.
- I thought to quit—nobody was listening.  

Instead of feeling pity and give up on the GOLD, I did this....... 

- I kept learning.
- I kept showing up.
- I leaveraged Top G's. 
- I celebrated small wins,
- I embraced my failed trial's. 
- I built genuine  relationships.
- I stopped chasing perfection.
- I became the support system.

Slowly, things started changing. Now, people know my name.   

The gold? It’s still being mined, but I’m closer than ever.  

This is your reminder: Progress is often silent.

— Positioning: Your profile is your landing page. 

Your growth is slow because you look more like Consumers — not producers. 

• So I fixed mine to look like what I want to attract. 

— Leverage: Learn to play smart. 

I needed more eyes on my brand so I stole them by; 

• Commenting on top creators with my TA. 
• Hosting top creators on audio events.
• Carousel Collabs for more reach. 

— Give Value at 0 cost.

People follow those who give them a reason to. So I shared; 

• Actionable tips. 
• Inspirational post. 
• My Stories beyond LI. 

— Tell your story: Don't be a "Glorified search engine"

• Share your fears. 
• List out your failures. 

This makes you hard to forget. 

— Nurture Your audience: Asides all these, I took extra steps here; 

• Gave 💯 support to newbies here. 
• Dm both new & old connections. 
• Rapid response to comments. 
• Rapid response to my DM's. 

Reason? People are attracted to creators who care.

2 years ago I thought I was “building a business” on LinkedIn…
