They’re amazing, you need them, and you probably aren’t ready for them.

Working with animators, designers, filmmakers, and artists, I’ve seen how differently they think about work, leadership, and collaboration.

The organizations that build for them now will win. 

The ones that avoid the inevitable will lose. 

I’ve seen it from both sides. 

Inside global brands building integrated brand experiences and now in the classroom developing the next generation of creative talent.

So starting this spring, I’m opening up a limited number of advisory and project-based engagements.

My students turned my cat into a classroom meme.

Unprofessional in a business class, right?

It’s been over 25 years since I started my first “real job” out of college.

I showed up with the uniform:
– Leather briefcase
– Navy blazer
– Polished shoes
– Framed diploma

And I learned quickly how to fit in.

How to speak without saying much.
How to signal success.
How to play the game.

And I was successful.
But not always.

Because I left something behind that first day.

My self. 
My creativity.
The part of me that actually made me unique and valuable.

But any successes I’ve had over the last 25 years didn’t come from playing the game. 

They happened during moments when I remembered I'm creative and I put my creativity to work.

What I see now, working with the next generation of creatives, is that they’re not willing to leave that behind.

That's good because organizations need them exactly how they are. 

To build structures around the next generation of creatives that unleash exactly who they are.

This generation of creatives doesn't trust big business.
