PSS was acquired by IBM in 2010. 

While at PSS, I founded the CGOC in 2004 as an industry think tank; today it continues to bring judiciary, corporate counsel and IT together to advance governance practices.  I also authored the CGOC Maturity Model and several benchmark reports and significantly contributed to the IGRM model, which have a lasting impact on the domain.

Sequoia funded startup with novel software solutions for financial and operational risk management and mitigation.   Helped the company define and launch the first Sarbanes Oxley compliance enablement solution in 2003.

Two CEOs asked me recently why alignment is so hard for exec teams and my question to them was why did you expect it to be easy? 😀  It is hard, but not anywhere near as hard as failing, under executing, and apologizing.  

If we recognize time as a constraint and have more ambition than we have capacity, then it requires rigorous debate on worthy choices to identify what matters *most* to the achievement of those ambitions.  

The upside of the hard work:  Everyone has clarity on where to focus their 530 hours this quarter to drive the best company outcomes.
