I dropped out of Imperial Business School  London without a proper plan. 

I left my software engineering job at Amazon  without a proper plan. 

2 years back i flew to blr without a proper plan. 

A lot of things that I have done in life that gave me best output has a bit of ambiguity involved. 

And somehow that ambiguity drives me - it motivates me - weird you can say. 

Just wanted to write this for someone who is feeling lost and don’t know the next step. 

Maybe sometimes you need to keep moving without knowing whether the next episode right or not.

Got featured on India Today!!!!  

When I left Amazon and started working on Cherry Media full time I poured my heart into a post. 

India Today covered my story , my journey from software engineer to an entrepreneur.

You know what’s the most special part -  

My dad reads the news on India today every morning as a ritual. It’s 4 am right now - the fact that tomorrow when he wakes up he will find me on his read list is making me cry. 

Nothing but gratitude towards everyone who have been a part of my journey. 🙏

Day or I’d say almost 1.5 month - almost of building at Entrepreneurs First and i know i did not update for a long time - sorry ;-; 

So here are all my learnings and things where we went wrong -  

1- Don’t build for scale- while building we sometimes forgot that we don’t have to build for scale at this point - but we fixed it. Now we find the most hacky way to move things quickly and ship ship ship 

Don’t solve for 10000 customers when rn you have 4

2- data matters the most- see what value you are bringing to the table and what time / money did they spend on the task that you are solving for them and what is the time / money they are making now. How did that time reduce and that delta could be the answer to how valuable is your product. 

3- divide your roles as a ceo and cto very clearly. Have good discussions but you should know who has the final call. It’s hard but very helpful. 

4- on some days we work until our bodies give up and it’s physically impossible to sit and maybe at times it’s needed don’t shy away from the hustle. 

5- launch FASTTTTTT - we made a mistake here but fixed - if your demo doesn’t break you are too late lol. We are in the process of this on multiple platforms stay tuned :) - do not wait to perfect it pls.

6 - we are talking to customers and potential customers and building features what they want - literally what customers say we build it -  every single day. Idk if that’s the most right way - yoj will know after 3 months lol 

Final word- 
It’s been the most hectic but most productive time of my life. Super grateful for the team here at EF who support us, give us feedback and push us to do better and better every single day.

If you are a founder Every day at 2 am everything seems to fail but then suddenly just one “great work” from the customer will keep you going.

Write content that wins in AI search!

after writing 100s of blogs -> analyzing it to see what is working and what is not -> analyzing 1000s of top-performing blogs to figure out what is working this we poured everything into a tool.

[1] X vs Y Blogs - here x and y could be you and your competitor, x and y could be both your competitors.

[2] Top X alternatives for Y in 2025 - LLMs love these listicles. make sure you mention the pros and cons of all, so you don't come out as biased. the real magic is in how you write it without sounding overly promotional.

[3] What is X - these are informational blogs - you can answer some of the most commonly asked questions in your industry and subtly plug in your brand. this is something that, if you are doing seo, you would already be doing.

bonus: we found that adding "last updated: [date]" and actual data from 2024-2025 gets you favored in AI responses. stale content from 2022 gets ignored even if your domain authority is insane. make sure you are always updating your content and reindexing.

if you want to do a "FREE" analysis of where your brand stands on ChatGPT, perplexity, and Claude in comparison to your competitors. 

Drop a comment "analysis," and I will send the report in your DMs by tomorrow. It will be based on 150 niched prompts that your ICP can ask and where do you stand right now and what you can imrove.

(of course we won't be able to send the report to everybody ;-; too many llm credits 😞😞)

but will pick 10 comments randomly and send the report.

Adobe acquired Semrush for $1.9B.

77% premium on their current stock price.

One of the biggest acquisition in this space. Good to see how they have mentioned GEO specifically-

"Semrush is a powerful partner for marketers looking to manage brand visibility and audience reach through its data-driven generative engine optimization (GEO) and search engine optimization (SEO) solutions."

For a very long time bigtech considered this category as a "non-serious" one but I think this is reminder "its not". 

Marketing teams need to evolve fast. If you are in marketing then ignoring AEO/GEO is not an option. AI search will increase slowly and then suddenly.

It's just the beginning!

As a startup founder it was so so so helpful. Here are 4 of my top takeaways - 

1- A small market growing rapidly can be more attractive than a large but
stagnant or declining market.

2 - Without a clear "why now," founders risk being ahead of or behind the market

3- Focus on becoming a champion in your niche before expanding to adjacent
markets.
