Before becoming a CTO, I have been a solutions and cloud architect. I still code, as an open source contributor, and sometimes for 'my' startups, doing Proof-of-Concepts.

Technical + managerial role. Responsible for requirements management, design (including fixed point) of audio processing algorithms/codecs for 16/24 bit fixed-point DSP's. I was also responsible for project management team/people management, interfacing with partners, and complete project delivery.

Design and development of embedded software components targeted for Consumer Electronics devices for e.g. Television. Mainly responsible for audio drivers, middleware and GUI components. Had to study (analog/digital/surround) audio standards such as BTSC, NICAM, Dolby Surround etc.
