DoubleGDP was a seed-funded SaaS startup that helped property developers in Africa and LATAM build, grow, and manage planned communities and special economic zones. The company ceased operations September 2022. I joined shortly after their seed round to lead efforts to take a product with prototype-level features to a mature state.

My work included market research with planned community leaders in the US and Africa to discover core pain points, develop clear user personas and use cases, and inform the product roadmap. I worked with our design team to formulate a cohesive product from disparate features, and launched new features and integrations (Twilio, WhatsApp, Calendly) for communication and scheduling functionality. I also developed relationships with high-level contacts in the African real estate and technology industries and had the opportunity to spend a few weeks in Kenya growing my knowledge of the real estate industry in East Africa.

BuySafe helps independent ecommerce merchants and website owners increase conversion and build trust with their visitors. I was brought on to reinvigorate the company via product-driven growth and to lead product management and strategy, UI/UX design, and GTM functions for the Norton & BuySafe Shopping Guarantee programs. 

Wins included: 
-Spearheaded strategic planning, launch, and implementation of partnership with NortonLifeLock and Allstate Identity Protection (multimillion-dollar revenue stream).
-Launched and grew self-service SMB sales channel.
-Provided strategic direction and product oversight from discovery through development, branding, GTM, and launch of new DigitalTrust product.
-Led launch of Shopify app and additional integrations with multiple third-party partner APIs.

GlassRoom Advisors LLC

GlassRoom Advisors was a startup investment management firm that used AI and machine learning to generate strategy and manage an investment fund that traded autonomously without human intervention (ceased operations December 2019). In this role I led all aspects of product management, marketing, and business development for an equity investment fund as part of the four-person startup team. 

While in this role I delivered a SaaS product and its marketing strategy, working with key internal and external stakeholders including sales prospects and potential investors to solicit feedback.

Following realtor.com's acquisition of FiveStreet, my role expanded to include management of other SaaS products used by real estate agents to improve their ability to support their clients. Led two teams of full-stack software developers, building and maintaining six cloud-based products. Worked closely with sales, marketing, software development, customer service and other cross-functional teams to build consensus and make decisions related to roadmap planning, product strategy and user experience functions.
