Throughout my career I have gained 15 years of experience in both B2B and B2C digital marketing sectors, giving me a deep understanding of customer journeys through the range of (ever-evolving) digital channels.

I pride myself on being honest, practical and hardworking, taking my work seriously but having a laugh along the way.

I thought feeling miserable at work was just part of being an adult.

I graduated into a pandemic and somehow landed what looked like a “great” job.

It paid well. There was a clear career path. The company had a name people recognised.

But I hated it.

Every day, and even the evenings after, felt like a long, stressful slog. I felt flat and disconnected, and started to wonder if this was just how work is meant to feel. Something you push through, not enjoy.

A few years later, everything looks different.

I started making content on the side. That turned into a genuine interest in personal branding.

Now I’m a brand manager.

The work can still be intense at times, but the days go fast and I feel like myself in the work. That alone makes a huge difference.
