Think about how you could things better/differently.

Then, connect with a few prospects and shoot some DMs.

Get used to reaching out to decision makers via chat.

Network with creators and build a relationship or two.

This'll give you a foundation, now you can start posting and sky is your limit.

Posting on Linkedin = Trust at scale

Engaging with your ICP = Trust at less scale

Talking 1-1 in the DMs = High trust low scale

Now, imagine you do all 3 to prospects.

First you post content and show up on their feed...

Then, you show up in their comments...

Then, you start a natural/relevant conversation.

The worst outreach I've ever seen was written by the best AI tools.

Flawless grammar. Professional tone. Clean formatting. Absolutely zero reason to reply.

That's what happens when you hand GPT-4 your website copy and say "write me a LinkedIn outreach sequence."

It'll give you something polished. Something that sounds like a sales email from 2019 wearing a better suit. 

And your prospect will archive it alongside the nine other messages they got today that read exactly the same way.

The AI did its job perfectly. It took what you gave it and made it sound good.

The problem is that sounding good and being relevant are completely different things.

I've reviewed hundreds of AI-generated outreach sequences at this point. 

The pattern is always the same. The sender knows nothing about the recipient except their name and job title. 

So the AI fills the gap with vague flattery and generic value props.

"I admire what you're building at [Company]."
"Teams like yours often struggle with [broad problem]."
"Would love to explore synergies."

It's technically competent. It's emotionally empty. The prospect feels nothing because the message says nothing specific to them.

Now compare that to a message where the AI knows the prospect commented about demand-gen challenges last week, their company just posted three marketing roles, and they've been engaging with a competitor's content.

Same AI. Same capability. 

But now it has something real to work with — and the output reads like a human who's done their homework.

Your prospects can't tell the difference between AI and human anymore. But they can absolutely tell the difference between someone who knows their situation and someone who doesn't.

The tool isn't the bottleneck. The intelligence you feed it is.
