I’m a serial entrepreneur passionate about building companies that solve real problems and challenge conventional thinking. Over the past decade, I’ve founded and scaled multiple ventures including taking a company from bootstrapped beginnings to the Inc. 5000 list and advised startups across SaaS, fintech, and consumer tech.

Today, I’m leading CompetitorIQ, a competitive intelligence platform that helps strategy and corp dev leaders see beyond press releases and polished announcements. By surfacing the hidden signals competitors leave behind from hiring trends and API changes to product documentation updates, we help teams anticipate moves months before they hit the news.

Alongside building companies, I’ve invested in underrepresented founders through funds like W Fund and Hustle Fund’s Angel Squad, and served on boards supporting inclusive entrepreneurship. I also authored “Decoding the Why,” an Amazon best-seller on behavioral science in product design and growth.

Meanwhile we build the MVP of our CatScanR, an app that enables cat lovers to scan their direct physical surroundings or the entire world on a map to connect and communicate with other cat pawrents and cat people, negotiating and exchanging various activities, e.g. cat sitting, stray cat feeding, cat walking, et cetera. 

My mission is to digitally empower the continuously unfolding relationship between you, your cat and other cat lovers. Since time immemorial, cats have brought and still bring into our human lives so much joy, relief and happiness. We should be eternally thankful for their existence. 
    
In evenings and weekends (>22hrs), working together with Roman Babenko my Russian speaking CTO from Ukraine living and working in Zürich, Switzerland, on CatSwoppr and the CatScanR. What a fun journey sofar :-) At this moment, we are growing our audience base for the CatScanR app via the nonprofit Global Cat PR Agency and with the help of our culturally diverse and skillset varied team. 

The CatScanR is a for profit app (social tool + free services + marketplace). Ideally, a percentage of its future profit will flow into our private nonprofit CatSwoppr Charity Fund with which we donate to initiatives that help big and small cats in need. By doing so, we try to align our platform and fund with worldwide ideas to protect 'Life on Land'.

Besides that, I work for The Amsterdam Fund for the Arts (AFK) as Grant Consultant Visual Arts and Heritage. The AFK invests in arts that enrich the experience of life in the city of Amsterdam. My role is to assess requests for project subsidy and stipends. 

Few years ago, I wrote a PhD thesis (368 pages) entitled 'Kunst in bedrijfsopdracht. Bedrijfspublicaties, kunstprofessionals en tegenstrijdige belangen' (2019) about three commissioned works of art between 1994 and 2004 for DG BANK (DZ BANK) in Frankfurt, EA-Generali (Generali) in Vienna, and Trussardi in Milan. 

In my spare time, I have been executing self-started non-profit art projects worldwide. Although less time, I still do take much pleasure in reading about sociology, socio-political philosophy, the petrochemical-finance industry, geopolitics, economy, western esotericism, and anthropology. Physically and mentally I have been trained in Russian Martial Art Cистема for 5 years, low acrobatics and knife fighting were my favorite topics.
