Movies shaped the way I think about stories long before I touched any tools.
Discovering 3D later on didn’t replace that love — it gave me a way to think visually about film, worlds, scale, and storytelling beyond the script.

My first day at my new job was a blast.
And yes, I mean that literally. 💥 

I started TODAY at the incredible company Commugen.

All in.
Full of ideas.
Full of plans.
Full of DATA (because… me).

But I live in Israel. And here, when you least expect it... Boom.

(Actually, no. We were expecting it. And I’m safe. BUT,) 

On Thursday, the sweetest team had prepared my desk.

My swag was waiting.
My computer was set up.
By the window (with a view, thank you very much).
And then, it hit us.

(Too many bomb jokes already? Stay with me.)

Yesterday I went to pick up my computer

Glass everywhere.
Plants scattered.
Parts of the ceiling down.

And somehow?
Almost everything intact.
Including a glass water bottle.
The only glass in the office that didn’t break.

Ha, make it make sense.

So yes, I brushed off the dust.
Removed the danger.
Picked up my things.
Went home.
Opened my laptop.
Started building.
Because that’s what we do.

But here’s the part that actually hit me (OPA!):
✨ The resilience ✨ 
Colleagues welcoming me with warmth.
Encouraging messages.
Heart. Hope.
Forward motion.

I absolutely love this country.

In many places, this would pause operations.
Cause panic.
Delay everything.
Here?
It fueled us.

The more you try to break us, the tighter we stand.
You can’t stop people who have mastered rebuilding.

So yes,
literally and metaphorically,
that was the warmest welcome I’ve ever received 🤪  

And now?
Well, now I’m on fire.
(THIS TIME IS NOT LITERALLY.)
