* Recruited to complement a large team of business/operational development professionals, contributing to a full spectrum of operational development projects and programs directly linked to relevant Nokia-level strategic priorities.
* Mentored/coached three coachees in personal development and project reviews. Collaborated with team lead to create team policies and practices.

Director, Strategy Deployment, Corporate Strategy

* Promoted to ramp up the corporate level quality team, leading and driving the Nokia-level quality agenda in alignment with Nokia Strategy.
* Proactively consulted with and facilitated senior managers to define, communicate and drive the Nokia-wide quality approach and “recipe”. 
* Collaborated with VP OEQ to enhance OEQ team’s performance. Set up the new Quality team after the Nokia reorg of 2007. Represented Nokia in key external Quality forums, e.g., EFQM.

* Recruited to build up and establish the Care Bus. Development function within the APAC Sales Area. * Worked in close cooperation with Area Care head to institute key business practices that promoted efficiency and effectiveness and drove team performance and results.

* Promoted to establish the global Care Business Development function across all five sales areas. * Drove and championed key business and operational development topics that had “fallen through the cracks”.

* Recruited (March 1998) and later promoted (2001/2002) to complement a task force team, reporting into the CEO and CFO function, leading key operational review and improvement projects and off-cycle strategy-based projects in areas such as Nokia Mobile Phones/Mobile Phones, Care, field marketing and marketing concepts.
* Collaborated with the department head to develop team practices/competencies and function-level strategy.

* From June 1993 to June 1995 studied full-time to gain MBA accreditation.
* Upon receiving MBA, returned to Alaska and established a private practice, performing contract work for the State of Alaska (e.g., orchestrating a Regional Fisheries Conference), and project consultant work for Nokia – assignments in Thailand and Finland ranging from Networks Customer Process development to Deep Feedback Interviews.
* Partner in a family venture to establish value added processing for salmon, heading up the business planning activities.

Having lived and worked in Germany, Singapore, and Finland and carried out projects in Thailand, Australia, the US, and Sweden, I have extensive international experience. I am comfortable working in an international setting and collaborating with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds.
