BYTE Challenge

BYTE Challenge is a digital learning platform for high school students and teachers.
The Challenge is to collect $Bytes (our digital currency) while learning from 100+ courses. These can be exchanged to prizes within our BYTE-Shop.

We digitalize Digital Natives:
- show tech impact within all occupational fields
- teach STEM basics & new technologies (#AI, #VR, #Blockchain)
- offer guidance for after graduation 
- for high school student (class 6-13) & teachers

In my full-time job at IBM as an Application Consultant, I developed the innovative continuation of our IBM internal Cloud Services & User Management administration tools for various project software. 
I also work in the TalentAdvisor working groups to make IBM more attractive as an employer. Of course, I am also involved in internal activities for students and pupils and support the planning of events.

Within the Gesellschaft für Informatik e.V. (German Informatics Society), I was able to achieve a lot in 2020 - 2022. As the spokesperson for the Young GI and board member, I brought the perspectives of GenZ into the association. 
As a speaker, I was able to help many people find their way, inspire them to get involved and strengthen their self-confidence. For instance, I started a series of events, the "STEM GIrls", which attracted over 350 registrations in the first year. The events serve to empower, find strengths and prepare young women and non-binaries for the professional world. 
I have also initiated and implemented over 33 digital events in these two years, including with companies such as IBM, Huawei Germany, McKinsey & Company, Netlight, Microsoft, Snowflake and Github.

I am 26 years old, a mom of twins, a Co-Founder of the BYTE Challenge, IBM Consultant, computer scientist👩‍💻 passionate baker 👩‍🍳 and a half marathon runner. 🏃‍♀️

My mission is to empower women in tech, 💪 inspire the next generation of computer scientists and create a more equitable world through education and technology. 🌎

In my full-time job, I work as a consultant at IBM, and on the side, I am very involved in volunteering for our society.
My volunteer work at the Gesellschaft für Informatik e.V. (German Informatics Society) and the BYTE Challenge education platform I co-founded provides free access to cool tech & informatics topics like AI, blockchain or smart homes to thousands of students worldwide.

I am a serial entrepreneur of educational projects 
and I have already received several awards for my hard work, e.g. Global Shero and an invitation to the President's Civic Festival. 🎉
