Coordinated with team to work out logistics of shortage of staff (i.e. 50 routes but only 43 persons to deliver). Networked outside of required duties to secure employment for multiple persons. Excellence in maintaining and updating route book, line of travel, and sorting case all with clear logical sequence for maximum efficiency. Reached highest possible promotion as a rural carrier.

At Banker's Life, recognized as a top training company in the world, I specialized in serving the senior market with financial planning through various insurance vehicles. Through diligent study and 60 to 80 hour work weeks I acquired my TX and MN licenses as a general lines agent also earning certification for insurance sales in long term care, home health care, and annuities. In the field I helped educate people about Medicare and helped them to move forward with a plan that best fit their situation. As a successful new agent in the Management Training Program I was invited to an exclusive gathering at our home office in Chicago. At this national company event, I represented the south central territory participating in a week of training. Following this trip, at our regional headquarters I taught a class on "Trustworthy Selling" to reinforce our sales cycle. In my short 5 months with Banker's as a Unit Field Trainer, I brought in 57 pieces of business while working in a team building environment.

In Grand Rapids, MN I served as an assistant football coach for wide receivers and assistant basketball coach at Itasca Community College. Highlights of my experience included a 5 week stint as interim-head basketball coach and several players receiving MCAC top performance recognition. At the end of the season I was offered a promotion to co-offensive coordinator. I was also a resident manager of student housing where I helped facilitate discipline, community events, and property maintenance. This function was supplementary to substitute teaching at several surrounding area school districts pre K-12. In coordination with my role in student housing, I networked with an area high school to give high risk students a chance for community service. To cap off a full schedule, on the weekends I worked part time at the local YMCA as a janitor.

If something isn't working, Chris is not afraid to give feedback and pivot with healthy collaboration.  If you want a "B" player who gets in line with status quo - Chris is NOT your guy.  

His superpower is gleaning off others, and crystallizing that learning to improve processes for everyone.   

He's been successful at Zocdoc (Ask Neil Friedman VP of Sales), Medely (Ask Khaled Nasr, Co-founder and COO), and before Teero had been building a bootstrap startup, Xylo.ai with Zach Gunderson as the first GTM Hire pre-revenue and pre-seed.

All of the above said, Chris has changed careers into SaaS sales (Feb. '22) but has a long professional history including titles like "Collegiate Coach", "Teacher", "Insurance Sales and Trainer", "Home-healthcare Manager", and "Post-man".  That should give you an idea he's good at adopting and has capacity in more than one way while being focused and dedicated to his long game, that is his craft in SaaS sales.  

After 7 years in the postal service, Chris has started a passive income business to assist disgruntled workers from USPS (in 2022 there was a 59% turnover rate among new hires).  

Personally, Chris loves brewing his own coffee from a pourover and making cold brew (it's better than anything on the shelves).  Chris has a goal to dunk a basketball at 50 years old.  He's a husband to the love of his life, Data Scientist extraordinaire Emily Appicelli, and Dad to Luke and Rosemary.  

Also Luke's volunteer assistant T-ball coach.  A title for a true "Try-Hard".
