My role is relevant to the marketing department and entails creative content creation using research and copywriting techniques for the website, communication and marketing materials, and the social media platforms to enhance the digital presence of Student Circus. Student Circus is a UK based higher education and digital recruitment focused firm.

- Developed 32+ digital Country Career Guides for graduates and professionals (including Pakistan)
- Assisted in editing and copywriting for reports and marketing materials.
- Produced 2 video scripts for the digital career resources platform for jobseekers (Career Ignition Hub).

Content Creator

Commission on Science and Technology for Sustainable Development in the South (COMSATS)

COMSATS (comsats.org/) is an international, intergovernmental organization with a membership of 27 countries, and 22 Centres of Excellence. 

Key tasks: 

- Liased with International organizations and academic institutes in the UK for collaboration and network growth to support the expansion of COMSATS from South-South Cooperation to South-South-North Cooperation.

- Supported the framework of the Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) & reactivated 6 International Thematic.Research Groups (ITRGs).

▪︎ Built linkages with 5+ International Organizations including the Commonwealth Secretariat and The Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU). 

Achievements:

• Acquired COMSATS accreditation to the Commonwealth Secretariat, United Kingdom as the first Pakistani organization.

• Received recognition as member of Organizing Committee for Awareness Seminar on Horizon 2020 in collaboration with the Service Facility Wing of the European Union (EU).

• Received recognition as focal person and member of Organizing Committee for Seminar on SDGs Implementation: Collaboration among Universities in collaboration with the Inter University Consortium for the Promotion of Social Sciences Arts and Humanities (IUCPSS) and the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan (Participation of 100+ Pakistani Universities).

• Successfully secured a Memorandum of Understanding between COMSATS and Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

Senior Programme Officer

Organization of Islamic Cooperation ( OIC )

I engaged in a cross-department Internship at the Department of Culture, Media & Information, and Department of Social & Family Affairs at the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

I was responsible for designing a promotional marketing campaign and a short documentary to boost youth development programs for the intergovernmental organization. I also assisted in managing and strengthening a CRM information database for the organization’s key contacts and potential partners.

 I produced the following marketing content:

- Launched the official Facebook page
- Generated 30 hashtags through keyword research 
- Produced content calendar and posts for social media
- Created 4 monthly bulletins and content for press releases

I was also recognized as the best intern at the OIC.

Research Center of Dar Al-Hekma University

As a research assistant, I had to conduct detailed research on Universities across the Gulf Region and UK, Europe & USA while identifying their benchmark standards and setting internal ones. After conducting thorough research and collecting supporting data, I developed and analyzed 200+ online and offline forms for internal and external research to facilitate the strategic planning process. I also supported the Head of the Research Center in strategic planning, policy making and decision-making.

The President of the Media Club is responsible for releasing a weekly online newsletter, News You Can Use (NYCU), for the University. I held the position as the President of the Media Club for two consecutive, academic years.

I recruited and led a team of 5 students, edited and released a weekly online newsletter, and engaged in collaborating and networking with other key societies to strengthen the bond between the students and faculty.
