Responsible for the complete marketplace operations, from vision to execution. Creating valuable product partnerships with other digital health companies to bring additional value to our customers.

In H2 2023, led the complete legal restructuring of Healthie's marketplace to ensure compliance with a number of federal statutes as Healthie became ONC certified. This restructuring included moving existing partners to new agreements to create more standardization across the marketplace. To date, Healthie has over 30 partners building to our APIs. In March of 2024, we relaunched the marketplace as “The Harbor.”

My role also includes direct management of a Clinical Operations Program Manager and Partner Success Manager.

Designed and implemented a comprehensive behavioral health service line within a well-established post-acute care and long term care hospitalist group. Collaborated with nursing home administration to address antipsychotic medication reduction through the use of Quality Assurance Performance Improvement which has produced reproducible results, dropping antipsychotic rates to approximately 6 percent from the national average of 20 percent.  This innovative model of care has added value to the patients who are served by the integrated care hospitalist team, preparing the Statcare for changing models of reimbursement.

Covenant Health

Reinvigorated a flagship acute care facility’s Senior Behavioral Health Unit that was not effectively serving community needs. Designed an efficient admission process and built relationships within the community which has sustained a vibrant unit for over one and one half years. Redesigned a treatment planning process to make it patient centered and multidisciplinary, which then received accolades during 2/2014 Joint Commission survey. Have worked with Covenant Home Care to make hospice beds accessible within the unit to the Alzheimer’s community for end of life care. Built a robust consult liason service at flagship hospital opening access to behavioral health services to all hospital service lines most notably to the ICU, Cardiovascular Services, Orthopedics and Emergency Department. Proposed a now implemented delerium prevention project across the Covenant System.

State of Tennessee Department of Mental Health

As a psychiatrist, continued implementation of the historical State of Tennessee inpatient hospital bedcap and diversion program. Built community resources in order to accomplish this task. Collaboration and design of weekend treatment planning not previously done in state hospital history in order to provide more comprehensive behavioral health care to the persistently mentally ill population and their families.

Cherokee Health Systems, Inc.

Worked as psychiatrist embedded into federally funded primary care clinic as part of Cherokee’s nationally renowned integrated care program. Worked with special emphasis on peripartum health care with primary care team and behavioral health consultant. Designed and prepared grant application for community post partum day program for mothers and infants. Provided telemedicine services to two chronically underserved counties of eastern Tennessee.

Driven by a deep-rooted passion for helping elite athletes, I have acquired certifications in Athlete Mental Health from the American Academy of Athlete Mental Health of which I am on the Board. Additionally, I am a Fellow of the International Society of Sports Psychiatry and a member of the American College of Sports Medicine.
