Hermes Investment Management

·	Oversight of all administration for all voluntary and mandatory corporate actions for all UK and International events such as rights issues, bonus issues, placings, stock splits etc, to ensure accurate securities records are kept put to date on the in-house system as well as correctly reflected at the custodian. Implementation of corporate action procedures for the team as a whole.

·	Processing all aspects of class actions from investigation of corporate cases to completion of forms and receiving in proceeds on a daily basis. Assisting in implentation of class action procedures for the team as a whole. Assisted in new in-house system set up as well as custodian system set up of class actions to gain information quicker and more accurately.

·	Class Action client service representative for external parties including law firms contacting Hermes and representing Hermes at external class action meetings/events. Communicating updates to various levels within Hermes Investment Management.

·	Assisting Fund Managers in any Corporate Action queries and resolving issues quickly and efficiently.

·	Investigating and assisting in resolving historic ad hoc issues in regards to previous Corporate Actions and Class Actions Events.

Assistant Manager

HSBC

·	Consolidating all Custodian Swift MT564 and MT568 Swift Messages for all Mandatory and Voluntary (UK and International) Corporate Action Events into one record to our clients for distribution.
·	To act as a contact point for all clients (serviced by Investment Operations) front office areas with regards to Corporate Actions Validation related queries.
·	To monitor the quality of Custodian SWIFT messages and highlight to the relevant custodians any improvements or amendments that will drive the eVent system towards greater levels of STP (Straight Through Processing).
·	To remain abreast of all relevant industry initiatives/developments in the area of Corporate Actions and SWIFT and to consider these initiatives as part of any change management program / projects.
·	Ensure that all critical alerts within eVent are monitored, investigated and acted upon by the close of business each day.
·	Signing and authorizing work of other team members.
·	Comply with all current legal and regulatory requirements, recognising market changes and the impact on processes.

Senior Corporate Actions Administrator

Legal & General Investment Management (LGIM)

·	Ensuring the accurate processing of all Mandatory and Voluntary Corporate Action Events in UK and International Markets. For example, Rights Issues, Open Offers, Bonus Issues, Stock Splits, Scheme of Arrangements, Consolidations, Redemptions, Spin Offs, Tender Offers, Exchange Offers, Warrant Exercises.
·	Identifying all Corporate Actions entitlements (exclusive of scrip dividends) on ex-date using information provided from custodians, press announcements and information providers such as Exdate, DataStream, Bloomberg etc, ensuring that Quasar (accounting system) records are updated in a timely and accurate manner.
·	Maintenance of Corporate Actions diary documenting any future actions (including those requiring decisions) ensuring these are acted on when appropriate.
·	 Reconciliation of both the parent and resulting security share holdings shown on Quasar with the custodians’ records at ex-date. To arrange for entitlements to be protected and or claimed in respect of unsettled transactions at the ex-date.
·	Managing Corporate Actions decisions from authorised Fund Managers for all optional events. To instruct custodians in line with such decisions within specified deadlines using agreed methods (i.e. SWIFT, letter, fax, etc.)
·	Accurate processing of allocations of confirmed entitlements on Quasar within internal deadlines. Verifying receipt of entitlements (cash or stock) on expected dates and following up with custodians or counterparties until entitlements are received in full.

Corporate Actions and Pricing Administrator

·	Main responsibilities - to claim and chase up dividend entitlements due from counterparties until received and to resolve discrepancies between LGIM’s expected and actual income receipts.
·	To maintain Quasar dividend tax rate tables in order that tax rates applied to entitlements are accurate. To amend entitlements and underlying rates when necessary.
·	 Identify dividend entitlements due to LGIM clients and record these on Quasar for dividend pay-date. To arrange for entitlements to be split between settled and unsettled positions.
·	To process Quasar receipt of all income payments which are due to LGIM clients and to identify all receipts which do not match with expected entitlements and take necessary steps to resolve.
·	 Actively review and chase up unallocated income entries in order to reduce unallocated income balances. 
·	To maintain Quasar dividend tax rate tables in order that tax rates applied to entitlements are accurate. To amend entitlements and appropriate underlying rates when necessary.
·	Managed high priority tax project to deal with a number of unprocessed tax reclaims. This involved filling in relevant Tax forms for Inland Revenue / Euroclear, running the daily Tax Report to maintain the Tax Matrix to show the relevant time periods to reclaim and finally reporting KPI stats for the Tax Project.

Income Investigation and Taxation Dept

Corporate Actions Administrator

·	Responsible for the running of all daily and weekly pricing reports and conducting variance / price checks from various on-line resources. This also involves ensuring that all prices received are within the strict tolerance limits set by guidelines.
·	Dealing with queries and information requests from the Valuations Department as well as advising them of any price changes.
·	Execute manual pricing / upload reports (confirmation of input prices, exchange rates, Futures, Indices, etc) whilst also investigating discrepancies and making the necessary changes. This involves working within strict time constraints in order to meet crucial deadlines.
·	Performing maintenance of securities onto internal broking system and excel spreadsheets (e.g. Proxy Voting and Dividends)
·	Assisting in the training of staff.

Pricing Administrator

·	Providing general support to the Funds, Objectives and Guidelines Department (FOGS)
·	Responsibilities include compiling Rule 8 reports to the London Stock Exchange and the Takeovers and Mergers Panel using Bloomberg and Quasar in tandem.
·	Monitoring internal trading for the daily FSA report by collating information from the Director Dealing Reports and Quasar. Both the FSA and Rule 8 reports require a great deal of accuracy and are produced in line with strict procedures and time constraints.
·	Reporting and monitoring on new trades requiring new ISIN and SEDOL codes for input on the Bloomberg credit file.

Administrative Assistant - FOGS

Prudential Bache Securities (U.K.) Inc

·	Worked as part of a special SFA Document Project Team dealing with updates to client records in all aspects of ‘Know Your Client’ information – this required input on both an Internal Compliance Database and also a portfolio processing system (Brokermax).
·	Liaising between departments to ensure that accounts / amendments were processed correctly and efficiently whilst meeting internal deadlines.
·	Assisting Valuation Team in the collation and production of the yearly and quarterly client valuations.

Hypnotherapy is a powerful technique that has been present for centuries and can help you regain control over areas you feel you have little or no control over.

The processes I utilise help ‘rewire’ stagnant, negative beliefs and behaviours by implementing positive psychological strategies with lasting results. By tapping into your subconscious when in a relaxed state, I help clients make rapid and lasting changes (usually in 1 session but up to a maximum of 3 sessions).

I also practice Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT) which is a pioneering new method (developed by Marisa Peer) that has proven to help achieve outstanding, effective and lasting results by identifying and focusing on the root cause of any potential issue. Once we understand the root cause, we use specific methods and techniques to powerfully remove them, leaving the client not only free from pain and suffering, but also giving them the opportunity to grow and achieve their goals.

I must admit, I was the biggest cynic at first. But I needed to kick a negative behaviour - smoking - and decided to try Hypnotherapy. To my surprise, after one 90 minute session, I was a non-smoker and have been ever since!

I was intrigued to find out how it worked - so I studied and was awarded top of the class (Distinction) with Chrysalis Institute in 2012. 

There began a thirst for knowledge and a curiosity of how the psyche of the mind can affect habits and behaviours.

After also qualifying with Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT) I have helped numerous clients achieve effective, outstanding and lasting results in many areas and with a variety of issues.

I am also an internationally certified Conscious Parenting Coach (CMPCM) helping parents develop lasting and meaningful connections with their children. Together we can explore and identify problem areas in the parent/child relationships and teach parents alternatives to traditional disciplinary techniques.
