•	Develop and implement project proposals, protocols, work plans and timelines and then develop and run novel experiments from the ground up
•	Develop these ideas and results into presentable data for grant proposals, publications, and practical applications
•	Record data using a Neuralynx and the Cheetah Acquisition Software along with MedPC. Code and design various computer programs using TransIV
•	Analyze gigabytes of raw data and prepare sorted data for presentation to the PI
•	Import and analyze the data using Matlab
•	Aid with the designing of other lab members experiments, as well as helping and overseeing in the collection and analysis of the data and assist in reviewing results
•	Advise researchers on regulatory requirements for the conduct of research and for the safety training of new lab members
•	Operate and maintain various equipment used in the building of the electrodes as well as the recording and sorting of cells and data analysis
•	Develop building procedures for various electrodes. Design, build and modify various styles of multi-array electrodes
