I went from an intern to building our marketing and sales playbooks along with our co-founder. We also built the largest Amazon Redshift engineering community in the world.

Buzz had over 200 000 active users in 4 different countries. This is by far the most widely spread app from this region. 

Our growth consisted of extreme guerilla marketing and a lot of content on Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, and YouTube.

We managed to engage more than 500 000 people in all those channels combined with less than $100 spent on advertising.

We won 3rd place for app of the year in 2016.

Whether it's creative strategy, esports engagement, media publishing or influencer marketing, the entities are well versed in creating opportunities and capitalising on the world's fasted growing sector. The Group has offices in London and Manchester, with teams also in Germany, France and the USA.

As CGO, I oversee all entities within the group, with each Managing Director reporting into me across each entity. I'm accountable for each business' P&L and hitting its targets, alongside also expanding into new areas/verticals in each relevant sector.

We experienced 100%+ YoY growth while winning seven major industry awards throughout this time, becoming the leading and largest gaming and esports agency globally. We maintained over 90% client client retention throughout that period and an average client satisfaction score that increased YoY. I led winning or retaining multi year relationships with clients such as KFC, LG, Facebook, JBL, Krispy Kreme, Porsche.

Kairos Esports is a full-service gaming and esports agency, backed by 10+ years of experience with both professional players and esports team owners as part of the team. We have worked on projects from non-endemic brand integration into the gaming space to full scale esports tournament launches with global brands. 

We are unrivalled in terms of our experience, understanding of the industry and relationships with professional players in the scene. We possess our own bespoke tournament software that can be instantly rebranded for any activation within 24 hours. We ensure all of our campaigns not only deliver results on a creative level, but also deliver a true ROI against the campaign objective. As such, we are able to guarantee results against the KPIs.

Kairos Esports sits under the Kairos Group -  a global network of agencies who are pioneering how communities engage with brands and forever discovering innovative ways to provide more value to clients.

In 2018 I founded Kairos Esports with Mike Craddock and Chris Parnell (co-founders of the Kairos Group), working with endemic and non-endemic clients looking to enter or expand in the gaming and esports space. Our priority being natural and credible activation, providing support on anything from social & influencer to events and sponsorships.

Growing that team to 25+ headcount by early 2020 and then merging with Kairos Media, we created one team of 65+ experts across gaming, esports, sport, betting and lifestyle - Kairos Media (now NewGen) was/is one of the fastest growing, social creative agencies in the world for global brands to break the mould.

In 2021, I also took on the additional role of CGO of the wider Kairos Group (now NewGen), overseeing all four entities (talent management, creator syndication, esports organisation, social creative agency) within the group, initially with each Managing Director reporting into me across each entity. I was accountable for each business' P&L and hitting its targets, alongside also expanding into new areas/verticals in each relevant sector; we grew the group to a team of over 100 with multi eight figure turnover in this time. NewGen has offices in London, Manchester and New York.

After being fortunate enough to take some time out, I decided to join Noice as it's first non-product exec. Noice is the next-generation livestreaming platform for gamers which just about ticks everything that gets me excited; I get to learn how a tech company is built while still living in the world of gaming and streaming. Noice has raised $27m to date and is in open beta, watch this space.
