When I launched Will Be Live in 2021, it wasn’t to start a marketing firm, it was to fix the recurring breakdown I kept seeing across industrial and enterprise B2B: companies investing millions into marketing and sales that either chases attention or dies in procurement. 

We built a system to shift that dynamic -- one that moves ambitious brands from being evaluated to being relied on. Not through noise, but through credibility that travels.

The first US Dubai Forum in New York didn’t just announce ambition, it was a master class in building demand.

Double GDP by 2033 was the message.

What stood out most wasn’t the scale of the vision.

It was how frictionless the execution model is becoming across capital, regulation, and infrastructure.

Here’s how they positioned themselves:

- Competition is systematically amplified, with Dubai’s policy and infrastructure actively creating new markets and inviting global disruptors to collaborate, scale, and innovate at pace.
- The city is intentionally designed as the nexus of global commerce, linking businesses to over 400 cities and making high-value transactions seamless with half the world being within a six hour flight from its airport
- Ambition is embedded into every project, regulatory process, and partnership manifested in real-time via accelerated licensing, founder-centric incentives, and dedicated public-private innovation labs.

These are the conditions where demand isn’t “generated”

More than 10 years ago, I co-organized a Startup Weekend with Saadia and Charlene and it taught me one of the most fundamental lessons in building a business.

At Microsoft’s HQ, 80 strangers came together under one roof. 
In just 54 hours, they formed teams, built MVPs, and pitched them.

People from every background showed up some chasing ideas, others offering their time. Even executives like Janet, Christian, Ross, Milad, Foteini and Sahand gave up their weekends to help founders get unstuck.

That’s when I learned what real community looks like.

Today, you’ll hear the word “community” used like a slogan but don’t be fooled.

Community isn’t a tactic that's formulated in the boardroom, it’s something you earn.

It only works when people who care deeply about solving a problem come together to serve.

You can pour money, tools, and strategy into it, but without that foundation, it wont stick. If you’re lucky, you’ll meet people like Nikki and Noor, who will give without ever keeping score.

This weekend shaped how I build today.

Trust and service at the heart of every interaction with people who show up before the traction.

I’m genuinely excited about the caliber of attendees and speakers coming out to this event.

I’ve been advising the team and it’s been impressive watching this come together.

That’s how real demand is created. Not with algorithms, but with care.

You don’t need a celebrity to create that kind of momentum.
You just need to make someone feel known.
