Naghmeh Yonathan is a seasoned data privacy and compliance leader and currently works at Meta (fka Facebook) in the Global Compliance Assurance Operations organization. Her experience leading large teams through complex, multi-phase privacy programs and technology implementations has equipped her with deep functional and technical expertise pertaining to data privacy tools and global best practices. 

Naghmeh has worked with national and global clients to implement strategies and roadmaps for data privacy and protection across major industries including healthcare, telecommunications, finance, insurance, retail, and public sector. She has advised organizations on safeguarding their data assets by leveraging digital products and cloud solutions in conjunction with data governance operating models, policies, and procedures. 

Naghmeh is a passionate advocate of ethics and compliance and has driven thought leadership on several topics including recommendations for legislative reform and frameworks for building interoperable privacy ecosystems.

Naghmeh holds a Specialization in Regulatory Compliance, Privacy Law and Data Protection from the University of Pennsylvania; a Master of Business Administration from the Smith School of Business at Queen's University; a postgraduate degree in Human Ecology from Western University; and a Bachelor of Science from Western University.
