I just learned more in 3 hours at a Clay event than I did in 3 months of LinkedIn scrolling.


Couple days back, I was at the Clay x HubSpot event in Bangalore.

Met some absolute legends. Learned things that'll change how I think about GTM forever.

The main one is that I spent real time with Bharadwaj (founder of Inboxpirates - B2B Lead Generation Agency).

If you don't know B G, you're sleeping on one of the sharpest GTM minds in India. This guy doesn't skip the nitty-gritty - he walked me through details most people ignore.

Here's what hit different:


1. Volume creates luck

B G's biggest insight is simply that Luck isn't random. 
It's manufactured through volume.

Send more emails. Post more on LinkedIn. Join more conversations on communities like Clay Cafe, AI Consortium, SYC and more, even if you're not actively participating yet.

Why? 

The more you show up, the more people know you exist. 

The more people know you exist, the more probability you'll meet the one person who'll accelerate your journey by 5-10 years.

see Volume = visibility. 
Visibility = connections. 
Connections = opportunities that look like "luck."

So do anything to increase volume. Send more (enrich emails via Prospeo.io xD). Post more. Show up more.


2. GTM Engineering > Outbound 
(as a GTME firm offer)

Outbound is solid. Outbound will last. But here's the reality:

Outbound is hard to scale as a business. Too many variables outside your control - be it client speed, market conditions, 100 things that can kill results even when you do everything right.

But GTM Engineering, Rev Ops, TAM mapping, HubSpot/Salesforce consulting?

These offers print money and last longer because the need exists forever. 
Do your job well, and clients stick. Simple as that.

If you're building a business, focus on systems that scale - not just tactics that depend on perfect execution + perfect luck.


3. Need and demand are criminally underrated

Personalization matters. But not as much as you think.

B G's take was that if you just nail: 
copywriting fundamentals + you have an offer people desperately need 
= personalization becomes secondary.

Like I've event sent emails without even using first names on campaigns. 

Just solid copy + an offer people were desperate for (like insurance, or free samples). They responded. They bought.

The market's desperation > your personalization. 

You don't need 47 spintax variables lmao 😂😂


Also got a chance to hang around with brilliant folks - Hrishita, Kushagra, Avinash, Shakthivel, Utsav, Parth, Tushar, Faraz, Anas and many more Gs who're all doing crazy things in GTM.

Honestly if you're in GTM and not connecting with people IRL, you're missing the best accelerator there is.

Most people roll out of bed for early calls. I put on a shirt and blazer at 4am. Not because I have to. Because standards aren't negotiable.

You know what's funny? A founder I was meeting with last week stopped mid convo and said "Nish, you just... show up. Every single day. That's rare."

I laughed it off. But driving home, it stuck with me.

Look, 47 days ago I moved out of my parents' place. First time living alone. 

And I made myself this weird promise - post on LinkedIn and launch at least one campaign every single day. Even if it's just for myself.

Plus one more thing - I show up wearing a shirt and blazer. Every. Single. Call.

—> 4am client call? Shirt and blazer. 
—> 6am prospect meeting? Shirt and blazer. 
—> 11pm emergency debug session? Shirt and blazer.

Not because anyone asked me to. Because how you show up is who you become.

Sounds simple, right? It's not.

Day 12: Dead tired, launched anyway. 
Day 23: Campaign completely flopped. Launched the next one. 
Day 31: Friends partying, I'm debugging Clay at midnight. 
Day 47: Still here.

Here's what I'm learning - everyone wants the $30K MRR months. 
Everyone wants the big clients. 

But nobody wants to launch that 47th campaign when the first 46 didn't hit.

The bare minimum I do? Launch one campaign daily for MYSELF. 
Not clients. Me. 

Because if I can't fill my own pipeline, why should anyone trust me with theirs?

Some days it's a 500 email test. Some days it's 20k contacts. 
Doesn't matter. The point is doing it.

I'm not special. 
I'm not particularly smart. 

I just decided that for one year, I'll show up every single day and see what happens.

No hacks. No "growth secrets." 
Just showing up when I don't feel like it.

If you're reading this thinking "must be nice to have that discipline" - dude, I don't. I'm just scared of being average more than I'm scared of being tired.

Try it for 30 days. 
One thing. Every day.

Mine's campaigns. What's yours?

3 to 12% reply % - 10 to 46% positive reply %. zero changes to copy, subject lines, or sequence. Just looked up. Way up.


LOL hits hard - here's what I did instead:

Client is in staffing and is targeting US warehouses so the launched campaign we’re getting some 5% replies, mostly garbage

I audit their list. Apollo data and actually looks real good, they’re in: 

→ Right headcount 
→ Right industry 
→ Right revenue

But when sales team called prospects who ghosted us?

"We're downsizing" 
"Barely operational" 
"That's just our mailing address"

We were sending perfect emails (claude copy agent to personalise, RM campaigns with quality research) to ghost warehouses 😂😂

So determined nish to make a fix, I asked myself - How do I ACTUALLY know if a warehouse is active or not?

Not what Apollo says. LIKE REAL proof - physical proof.

Then it hit me.

Parking lots.

Logic is, the more Active the warehouse = the fuller and better parking lot it has = hence hiring needs

So i opened Clay.com as i do 200 times a day and got back building 😤

→ Pull warehouse addresses from Serper API
→ Feed into Google Maps Platform Static API and fetch satellite view
→ Input image to GPT 4-V (OpenAI Vision API) to scold him to counting parking spots with cars
→ Filtered for 50+ occupied car spots (meaning 100-150 people min operation 
→ Send only to those through EmailBison/HighLevel and SMS (validating number through Prospeo.io ✅)

Even tho here i just;
Accepted that satellite images are static, time they were taken is random and data is about 12 months old

But dang it still had a ton of juice in it. Else I couldve also used the OG Planet API but client had limited pockets lol so its fine 😅

Finally the Results? I thought this campaign would be ok, but reply rates went from 3% to 9% damn

here's the crazy part that got me excited and forcing to write this post right now:

The replies changed from "not interested" to "Yeah, we're adding 30 people next quarter. Let's talk?"

We weren't just getting more replies.

We were getting decision maker replies from warehouses ACTIVELY SCALING.

Reason why this really matters is right now - nobody's talking about signal creativity and LIST. THATS the most important thing to turn a campaign into success after infra.

As B2B data is dead since even your 5 year old has has Apollo, scrapes LinkedIn and targets the same lists as you and me 😂😂

So you need to Find signals nobody else is tracking to have an “edge” haha

Another example: 

Like a hedge fund trader tracks the shadow of the sun on oil barriers to decide trades before the market opens.

We have to be more creative to apply plays like these by ACTUALLY thinking and not going in the sheep crowd. 

So Just stop trusting bad data and started trusting parking lots LMAO

Nico Marino built a Wispr Flow competitor in 4 hours.


Not 4 months. 4 hours. In his spare time. Using Cursor & XCode.

This isn't about building random tools. It's about building GTM tools that give you an unfair advantage.

His advice? Spend your first $100-200 on Cursor credits and just build. 

By $800 total spend, he had the skills and confidence to create complete outbound tools himself.

Here's what changed:

Tools like shadcn and Context7 work with Cursor's backend to help you develop full stack web apps with working front-ends and back-ends.

You can build:

Heres what happened internally in our company

1) We dropped our price by 72% and had like 1 BAZZILION leads DM me, reply to my emails, and send me carrier pigeons to join our program 

2) My Community Managers Tayla, Samanta and Olivia had like 10x 1:1 onboarding’s. I’m taking them out for a VERY expensive lunch soon to say thanks.

3) TODAY I spent 5 hrs onboarding 73 people into our program. That was after I left my house at 5.45am to pick my brother, his wife, and my nephew from the airport. 

4) I re recorded our entire program for the 4th time. I’ll be recording all through the weekend also. Honestly I’m so proud of the content though.

4. Preview what’s inside the post

Before someone clicks, they need to know what they’re about to get.

The hook is the preview before the movie.
