Nik has been on a roll, and for someone who started ~50 episodes ago and does it as a side gig, he has really improved over time. Full pro-podcaster he has become. 😀

Goes on to show that the odds of success are much higher when you build things around what you love. Nikhil Kamath  is curious, looks good, listens, and speaks well, and the magic sauce is launching the podcast at the right time when podcasting in India was just taking off.

The thing that stood out to me was what @elonmusk  said beautifully towards the end of the podcast, and also describes much of what Nik does with WTF, which I’m proud of as a brother.

“I’m a big fan of anyone who wants to build. Anyone who aims to make more than they take has my respect. That’s really the core principle: strive to be a net contributor to society.
It’s similar to the pursuit of happiness. If you want to create something valuable or financially successful, the goal shouldn’t be the money itself. Instead, focus on providing genuinely useful products and services. When you do that, the financial rewards tend to follow naturally. At Rainmatter by Zerodha  Health, we're experimenting with something beyond just writing checks. 

We're creating participatory sports events through an initiative called peakst8 . We've been going around the country with Founders Peak—getting health founders (and others) to participate, not just network over coffee. 

Last weekend was our first grand event: "No Parking." Booked the entire basement at Brigade, Orion Mall (thanks, Nirupa Shankar!), Bengaluru. Around 1,000 runners representing 38 corporates, 45 communities, and 43 run clubs were participating in various activities, including running, rowing, cycling, and more. The energy was incredible.

The thesis is simple: people need more reasons to think about fitness. The odds of people wanting to get fit may be higher if they see the fun and participatory side. 

The next big one is the Peakst8 festival in January.

- Building a product to accelerate animation asset development workflows by 10X with a proprietary ML model (patent pending) + GenAI powered tech stack to solve a global problem faced by all animation studios

GTM, ML algorithm, Large Language Model Testing and Selection for educational chatbots with translation tasks, Quantization and Fine-tuning of LLMs, Vector database selection (Weaviate / Pinecone), Vendor management for Data Labeling, Cloud vendor assessment (AWS / Azure / GCP), Pitch Deck for fund-raising and successful selection to Rubrix cohort @T-Hub, Hyderabad.

- Founded startup to simplify the way 'animated assets' are developed. In a nutshell, the idea was to create the 'Canva' but for animation. Make the process simple and 'cost-effective' for any user. 
- Launched 'service line' to understand the market and problems associated with creation of 3D / 2D animation 
- Built core team comprising of in-house folks for 'retainer' and external partners for 'on demand' specialised projects.

My responsibilities, as part of the core team at Ideapoke included:
- Creation and implementing a GTM plan, logo-hunting and new business development from Fortune 500 companies with primary focus on APAC and key global accounts based in US/Europe, building the sales & marketing org. from 'ground up', work closely with the tech analyst team to solve customer challenges.

Indranil is a seasoned data scientist with comprehensive experience in applied Machine Learning, Deep Learning and Generative AI, with special emphasis on Large Language Models, system design and solution architecture. 

Indranil also has also managed large techno-commercial accounts from Large and Medium Enterprises in both a 'hunter' and 'farmer' lead architect. 

In his most recent role as Deep Learning and GTM Consultant, Indranil worked with a variety of clients, including large corporations, startups, and government agencies.
