And honestly? The numbers explain why.

Q2 FY26 numbers: 
→ Ather Revenue: ₹940.7 crore (+57%) 
→ Ola Revenue: ₹690 crore (-43%) 

→ Ather Market Share: 17.4% 
→ Ola Market Share: 11.5%

For the first time ever, Ather has overtaken Ola in revenue.

What happened?

Ola: 10,000+ unresolved customer complaints, outsourced service network, ₹846 crore losses in H1, stock down 75% from IPO.

Ather: 524 stores, 4,322 charging points, margins improving, approaching breakeven.


You can't scale a product customers don't trust.

Ola chased aggressive growth. 

Ather focused on solving actual problems: charging reliability, service quality, retail presence.

Now Ather's winning while Ola's founder is literally using his shares to bet on AI instead.

PhysicsWallah founder Alakh Pandey sir are facing scrutiny over significant discrepancies between public statements and official DRHP documents. Here's what the data shows:

>Alakh sir claimed $210M raised.

But official filings show $244M (34M more than stated)

That's a 16% understatement.


>Treasury Mismatch Public claim: $280-300M "in the bank" 

DRHP reality: $183M in liquid assets 

So the gap: ~$100-117M (35% overstatement)

Also, sir positioned PW as "cash-generating." But simple math tells a different story:

- Raised: $244M
- Current treasury: $183M
- Net burn: $61M (₹543 Cr)

That's cash consumption, not generation.

Yes, revenue jumped from ₹744 cr (FY23) to ₹2,887 cr (FY25). 

But losses persisted ₹243 Cr in FY25

For aggressive expansion, acquisitions and employee costs consuming 50% of revenue.

When founder narratives diverge significantly from regulatory filings, it raises serious questions about transparency and investor trust. 

Operating cash flow positive ≠ overall profitability.
