Glow Green ltd

During my 2 years at Glow Green, I had an integral role in taking the company from a small, local company, to what became the fastest growing home heating company in the U.K. achieving a staggering 650% growth in the first year alone.

Accomplishments during my time at Glow Green

● I transformed the companies lead acquisition, from using agencies and lead-gen companies, to bringing the entire operation in-house, resulting in 75% reduction in Cost Per Aquisition. As well as providing greater volume to facilitate sustainable growth.
● Designed the blueprint for which Glow Green utilised to "command and conquer" the U.K. domestic boiler market.
● Headed a team that launched GlowCare, the companies boiler service, and maintenance product.
● Built and managed the digital team.
● Headed a project with the objective of increasing conversion rates from surveys, which resulted in a 35% increase in sales.
● In 2016 as a result of the growth, the M.D at Glow Green won Entrepreneur of the year at the Dorset Business Awards. (Very much a team effort).
● In 2016 Glow Green won Barclays ‘The Colleagues Choice Award’.

Daniel Kern Inc. - Acne.org

Responsibilities
I managed Daniel Kern Inc. - Acne.org's online entity. Assisting in the growth of the company from a small startup, to become one of the most recognised names in the industry and the number 1 community for acne sufferers. 

My roles and responsibilities included: PPC, SEO, lead generation, conversion optimisation, website design and maintenance, project management, community management, graphic design, analytics and print design. 

Accomplishments
● #1 rankings in Google for many high value keywords, including the term "acne" in the U.S.
● Over 100,000 daily visitors from organic search
● Established as the #1 acne community in the world 
● Doubled website traffic within 12 months
● Record sales year after year
● 30,000 followers on Facebook in the space of several months

My role at Acne.org was diverse and challenging. For 10 years I worked very closely with the director of the company to effectively develop and grow the company from a one man operation to an international company.

Tehkseven was a social network for mobile phone enthusiasts and artists who create content for mobile phones to showcase and share their work with the world.

At its peak Tehkseven had a member base of over 2 million, from all over the world, with millions of unique visitors each week.

Tehkseven was also home to the successful Youtube show ‘Phoneage’, which gained over 50,000 followers, with the episodes reaching tens to hundreds of thousands of viewers.

Co-founder of Nokia Users, a community for enthusiasts of Nokia mobile phones. At its peak it was the biggest community of its kind, without tens of thousands of visitors each day. 

Nokia Users was eventually acquired by an investor, for which I facilitated.

- Negotiated and secured advertising campaigns with companies such as Nokia
- Assisted in the eventual acquisition of the company

NLP Connections

NLP Connections was an early social network for those interested in NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming). It quickly become the largest NLP community to date. NLP Connections hosted events with some key developers and pioneers of NLP, including Richard Bandler and John Grinder.

- Become the #1 social network for NLP
- Worked with some of the most respected NLP trainers in the world
