The Industrial Assessment Center at Arizona State University (IAC@ASU) is a Department of Energy (DOE) funded program whose mission is to identify technology, systems and productivity opportunities that result in increasing energy efficiency, reducing waste and providing better financial results for small and medium sized manufacturers, while educating and training the next generation of energy and productivity experts.  The Center conducts energy, waste and productivity assessments through one-day site visits at no cost to the facility.

Under my leadership, Nexus Integrated Solutions has secured significant contracts, including a 5-year, $3 million energy engineering contract with the City of Scottsdale, AZ. Additionally, we led a 3-year, $30 million project as the Heavy Industrial/Commercial Energy Efficiency Auditing Team Lead for the California Public Utilities Commission. Our expertise is demonstrated by successfully reviewing and auditing over $1 billion worth of energy efficiency projects, contributing to a more sustainable energy landscape.

We have deep expertise in measurement and verification, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of energy and carbon consumption. Our track record includes working on projects totaling over $500 million for multiple electric utilities allowing clients to make informed decisions and optimize energy usage.

We manage 25 million square feet of class-A office space for clients and are committed to sustainable practices. By utilizing Energy Star benchmarking, we track energy and carbon consumption, identifying areas for improvement and driving efficiency gains. With over two decades of experience in the energy, water and infrastructure sectors, I have embarked on an exciting journey as a Senior Engineer in the Electric Vehicle (EV) group at Salt River Project (SRP). In this pivotal role, I lead the utility's managed charging initiatives, leveraging my deep expertise to pioneer innovative strategies within the burgeoning electric vehicle domain.

My career is distinguished by significant recognition and contributions to the industry. I was honored to be named in the Phoenix Business Journal's 2018 40 under 40, a testament to my leadership and impact. Furthering my commitment to civic engagement, I am also a proud member of the 2023 class of the Flinn-Brown Fellowship through the Arizona Center for Civic Leadership.

As a registered Professional Engineer, Certified Energy Manager, and Certified Demand Side Manager, I excel in orchestrating complex projects that enhance energy efficiency and infrastructure development. I aim to forge a more efficient and sustainable future, applying advanced business analytics and systems engineering principles to overcome challenges in energy and water resources management.

Beyond my responsibilities at SRP, I serve as the Chairman of the Planning Commission for Gilbert, Arizona, offering my knowledge to steer urban planning and sustainable community development. This commitment underscores my dedication to fostering resilient and vibrant communities.

I am the Founder and former President of Nexus Integrated Solutions, a pioneering firm in Arizona recognized for its cutting-edge approaches to sustainability. Under my leadership, Nexus secured contracts with leading corporations and utilities, driving substantial energy conservation and resource optimization. Though my involvement has shifted to a private investor and shareholder, this change enables me to concentrate on strategic projects at SRP and fulfill my civic duties.
