This morning I lost my watch.
When I woke up this morning I remember seeing it on my wrist. Then it vanished.

I was running around getting the little one ready for daycare.

Feeling naked without it.
My wife started helping me search.

Counters

Bathroom 
Car
Nothing

It was time to head out and I finally accept it.

It'll show up later.

On the drive to daycare I turn on the Prod G podcast like I always do.

They say the date.

I look down to check the date on my watch…

And there it is.
On my wrist.
The whole time.

Turns out when I put on my hoodie this morning, I just didn’t notice I already had it on.

No big lesson here except the obvious one.

When your mind is full, your eyes stop working.

The next few days are stacked for me.

Conference prep, getting everything ready for a launch, interviews prep, and webinars I’m hosting.

So consider this my reminder (and maybe yours too)

Slow down.
Do one thing at a time.
And don’t sprint into the day with your brain already overloaded.

Maybe I should just take it easy tonight.

I'm happy to share that after a bunch of mess ups. 
I finally launched my book on TikTok Shop.
Here are the biggest mistakes I made so you don't have to.

1) 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗶𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱. 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗶𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁.
In the beginning, you only get so many reach outs before it resets weekly. But that only happens when a creator generates GMV for you.
Don’t waste them on vague messages. 
Craft personal messages, have your offer + angle ready.
Once capped, move to emails.

2) 𝗗𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗱𝗿𝗼𝗽 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗯𝘂𝘆.
If you want to test your setup, buy it at the price you actually want to sell at.
I did a test buy at a super low number and it messed up my flash sale plans.
Now I can’t run the flash sale price I wanted without dipping under margin so I’m stuck running a discounted price instead.

3) 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗮 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗳 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗼 𝗮𝗻𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝗹𝘀𝗲.
Shout out to Tyler, he posted a video on how to set up a creator brief, and it showed me what a great one looks like. Link to that post in the comments. 

4) 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗼’𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.
Shout out to Jordan! He puts out so much free info that most people would charge for, and it helped me connect the dots faster.

5) 𝗙𝘂𝗹𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗰𝗸 𝗻𝗼𝗯𝗼𝗱𝘆 𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗸𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁.
For books, Acutrack, Inc. was the only option I found that actually let me sell + fulfill on TikTok Shop (and they’re already working with big TTS book sellers).

I’m launching my first blitz today.

I’m still early.

But it’s rewarding seeing the mess ups finally turn into momentum.

TSA PreCheck is effectively paused because of the partial government shutdown.

That means a lot more people are about to funnel into the regular security lines.

Expect airports to feel slower.
And messier.
Especially at peak times.

If you’re flying soon.

Get to the airport  earlier than you normally would.

Pack like you don’t have PreCheck (assume standard screening rules).

Turn on flight + gate notifications.

Check your airport’s live security wait times before you leave.

This will unfortunately last longer than the last one.

Lines at airports are only getting longer.
Over 3+ hours.
But here's a way to skip them.

It's called Touchless ID and here's how to get it.

While it's currently at 65 airports, it's the fastest way to skip security lines.

It only takes three steps

1. Add your TSA Precheck/ Global Entry Known Traveler Number to your airline app.

2. Enter your passport credentials into the airline app. Some will just ask for the information while others require a picture.

3. Find the "Opt In" Touchless ID button in your airport app and approve it.

There are currently only 5 participating airlines and you'll need to do this process for each airline.

Alaska Airlines 
American Airlines 
Delta Air Lines
Southwest Airlines 
United Airlines 

This is a separate line from TSA Precheck and not many people know about it.

I just logged off a LinkedIn ads masterclass where Moby showed us his exact playbook on how he's helping companies grow using LinkedIn ads.
Here are my top 5 takeaways. 

1) LinkedIn ads are more expensive but theres a good reason.
Compared to Meta ads, you’re paying a premium for something Meta can’t match, enriched targeting with job titles and companies.

2) There are two sweet spots he uses
Company size: target 11 – 1,000 employees.
Once you go above that, you’re drifting into enterprise and the sales cycle slows way down.
Audience size: aim for 25,000 – 80,000 people.
Below that → your ads get pricey because you’re too narrow
Above that → frequency drops and the same people won’t see you enough to become familiar

3) The big question, can you define your ICP by job titles?
If you can clearly target by job title, LinkedIn ads can be a weapon.
If you can’t, it might be better to stick with meta ads.

4) There's been a shift in how companies run ads.
More and more companies are running ads through real people (founders, execs, subject matter experts) using thought leadership content.
These tend to earn clicks cheaper than ads run through the company page.

5) Thought leader ads are a gem but still need structure.
Your posts should be useful, relevant and include a clear CTA.
And one simple warning, don’t use the Boost button.
You lose control over costs and visibility into who’s actually seeing them.

People ask me all the time whens my next trip. Most of the time, I have no idea.
Because I shop deals, like this $8k one for only $6. 

Yesterday in the newsletter I broke one down.

Right now, Chase has a 40% transfer bonus to Virgin.
So 100,000 Chase points → 140,000 Virgin points.

And the second I saw that, I started digging to see what was actually bookable.

Virgin has a ton of partners and SkyTeam access, so you’ll see options like KLM, Delta, SAS, Korean Air, and more.

For Virgin’s own flights, the easiest way to find award space is their reward seat checker.

Just google "reward seat checker"

You can find solid point prices into London Heathrow.

If you’re flying Virgin, I’d mostly be looking out of Boston or JFK since that’s where their newer planes tend to show up.

But here’s the catch with Virgin redemptions.

The points price can look amazing but the taxes and fees are high. 
Sometimes $500+.

Something like Upper Class for 38,000 Virgin points can be tempting.
With the 40% Chase bonus, you’d only need about 27,000 Chase points to get there.

If you don’t want to get hit with $500+ in fees, and you’re okay paying a bit more in points stop looking at Virgin flights into London.

Start looking at Virgin partner awards.

Like SAS to Europe, with routes from the US to Copenhagen.
Taxes and fees are way more reasonable.

So even if the points cost is a little higher than Virgin on paper, you’re not lighting money on fire with surcharges.

Here's the deal I found.

Cash price was almost $8,000.
But with the 40% Chase transfer bonus, you could do.
Boston → Copenhagen (business class) for about 43,000 Chase points + ~$6 in taxes/fees.

This is a cleaner Europe business class play
Solid redemption value
Small out of pocket cost
You avoid the Virgin fees problem

The only rule is flexibility.

Not every day will have award space. 
You’re always at the mercy of what dates airlines release.

But if the days line up and you’re flexible on routing, this is one of the simplest ways to get to Europe in business without burning a ton of miles or cash.
