I first started this job when I turned 18 years old. Jeff Ruby's is known to be one of the best steakhouses in Cincinnati, as well as, the midwestern region. The company stresses the importance of customer service and teaches how to treat guests with care and kindness. My main duties as a server's assistant is to greet the guests once they are seated, clear entrees on time, refill waters, box up food for to-go, and to reset the tables in an extremely detailed manner.

This internship has given me many lifelong memories and experiences that I will never take for granted. I have been able to travel the country with the team, and learn from some of the brightest collegiate coaches in the country, as well as, work with some of the best professionals in the industry. 

The importance of finishing tasks on time is crucial for this job. My main duties is to complete film data entry, be involved in practices, help anyone in the office with tasks such as setting up for team dinners, events, etc. I do it all in the range of helping coaches with easy chores and/or helping our players with whatever they need. 

My position group that I work with is the cornerbacks, in which I help the cornerbacks coach with practice, to create film cut-ups of our players from practice and games, and I also create our opponents scouting reports of the wide receivers that our players will be facing. 

Recently in the offseason, I have been involved with college recruiting where I give our recruits and their families tours of campus and our facilities, and inform them why the University of Cincinnati is such a great place to attend. I have been tremendously involved in our recent official visits and other important recruiting days that are important in college football.

Coaching/Recruiting Intern at the University of Cincinnati

I have been an intern for the defensive staff at the University of Cincinnati since 2017. I have gained countless amounts of experience from this internship. I have learned skills such as the importance of attention to detail and having a consistency in work ethic, in which results in gained trust. I have recently been involved in the college football recruiting process, in which I give many families tours of our facilities and campus. This has given me tremendous amounts of skills through interacting with people ranging in many diverse backgrounds.

I learned a lot of my skills from working at a Jeff Ruby's steakhouse because of the importance of customer service. This restaurant prides itself on its' prestigious customer service and world redound steaks. I have always been one of the youngest employees at this restaurant, however, I have created personal bonds with our regular guests, and I have received multiple positive reviews from other guests that have eaten at this restaurant. 

I am open to job opportunities that allow me to create relationships with other people. I enjoy to surround myself with co-workers who are driven through their passions.
