Developed and introduced a new reporting methodology and mechanism which integrates multiple measures within one interface to increase data utilisation and management of day-to-day activities. It also allows Management to see the impact of decisions and track the success rate of strategic priorities in a very short space of time. Recommendations for corrective actions with probability of success are also shown based on Predictive Model outputs.

Debt Collection Predictive Model - Developed and implemented a collectability model for Debt Collection; the model enables debt collectors to work on debt cases with the highest probability of payment, thereby reducing the total case load and increase efficiency. The implementation of this model brought on a new era in the way the organisation utilises information and analytics to improve processes and performance.

Assisted the World Bank with a Macro Economic modelling exercise regarding the effectiveness of Corporate tax incentives in the current tax system. The outcome of the study was used as input to the Davis Tax Committee on possible tax reform changes.

Provide insight to Executive & Senior management on possible behavioural shifts of taxpayers and changes in submission and payment patterns, quantify future risk factors with probability of occurrence and highlight possible solutions.

Developed and managed the Submission Forecast models used to track submissions of Taxpayers and Employers during both filing seasons. The Filing Season submissions and Forecasts are the official view of the filing seasons in the organisation. 

Provide career mentoring and shaping of BEE talent to ensure optimal fit and results for the division and organisation. Responsible for management of a team of analysts, specialist and data engineers driving the strategic direction of future projects.

Designed, implemented and produced the product profitability reports, which included all Capital, Funding, Revenue and cost components for each product.

Established a process to ensure a central view of the Bank’s product profitability was done at Group Finance Divisional level.

Key role player in the Design, management and execution of the Central Transfer Pricing model to determine the Inward Transfer Pricing for all Clusters. The results were crucial in ensuring the financial statements of the bank were correctly portrayed.
