If you want to grow on LinkedIn, you need to accept that:

→ You’ll have to post visuals (carousels, photos, videos).
→ Sometimes you’ll need to show your face (to build trust).
→ You’ll have to accept that not every post of yours will “blow up.”
→ You’ll need to send connection requests yourself, not act unavailable.
→ You’ll have to write even when you don’t feel like it. Consistency is key.
→ You’ll have to invest time in commenting and engaging, not just posting.
→ You’ll have to accept that LinkedIn can be cringe – which means MEMEs.

Do you want a bulletproof hint for explosive growth? Alright, you’ve got it. LinkedIn’s algorithm gives extra weight to engagement from users who are:

– highly active,
– have many followers or connections,
– and are considered “credible” in their niche (their content performs well).

When these users engage with your post early (by liking or commenting), it signals quality to the algorithm – often boosting your reach.

Plus, social proof from respected names increases your authority in the eyes of others.

TL;DR: Try to catch the attention of LinkedIn Top Voices and stay close to them.

I'm excited to share that none of my most successful posts were generated by AI. They were written by me.

I wrote them manually, and ChatGPT only helped me check the grammar. 

All of them are my own thoughts based on real experience.

Jokes aside.

These days, even that’s an achievement (sometimes a real miracle).

I used to have 100,000 views a week on LinkedIn, and then dropped to 14,000. Algorithm? No... something else.

I stopped posting 2 posts a day regularly. I lost track due to health issues, and now I need to get back on track.

Quick tips to achieve this (not only) with content:

• Eye-catching image.
• Strong first two lines of text.
• Quick interaction in general, especially under your posts.

PRO TIP: If the image is a work-related MEME or a photo of you in real life, it can make a real difference.

Now, trying to post at least one post every day, and currently have 60K impressions/week. It took me approximately 7 or 8 days to get there.

Keep your fingers crossed for my comeback. 🤞

What if I told you that in 2026, a new social media platform from OpenAI will emerge? Sounds like sci-fi? And what if I told you other predictions: 

– Threads will overgrow X 
– more Africans will get access to AI, social media and the internet 
– Meta will bring back the chronological feed in one specific country 

But there’s much more coming.

Almost the same LinkedIn post, but different results. 29,900 impressions vs. 3,341 impressions; 480 likes vs. 80 likes. How is it possible? I will explain: 👇 

I tried posting on LinkedIn the same content that went viral a week earlier. The result? It didn’t go viral – only semi-viral.

Here’s why I think that happened, ranked from most to least likely:

1️⃣ In the first post, I used a MEME image (an attention-grabber).

2️⃣ The first post went out during the workweek when traffic is higher; the second one was posted on the weekend.

3️⃣ I gave the first post more “space” to stand out – I didn’t post or repost anything else that day. In the second case, I reposted something else on the same day, which may have divided the attention of the audience.

4️⃣ The first post benefited from previous activity and previous viral post – people visited my profile more, interacted, and engaged with my posts. The second post didn’t have that momentum.

5️⃣ I repeated myself – it’s possible that publishing the same text content repeatedly makes it feel less original, reducing engagement.

TL;DR: Timing, context, and format matter.

PRO TIP: Be engaging and try to answer all comments.

Viral post – LinkedIn post case study

Social media made me a better person. Really. I’m not exaggerating, look:

💃 TikTok taught me to be a dancer. 
💄 Instagram taught me to look beautiful. 
⚔️ Facebook taught me to win arguments. 
👗 Pinterest taught me to dress like I'm on a catwalk. 
💁‍♀️ Twitter taught me to have an opinion on everything. 
💼 LinkedIn taught me to sound professional, tho I have no idea what I’m doing.

Sometimes I prefer a peaceful life over drama, and doing nothing over exaggerating how amazing my achievements are.

It’s okay to turn down a partnership offer. Even a paid one from a top company that has raised $25M+. It really happened like this:

I always appreciate it when someone thinks of me for a paid partnership; it feels so good. 😀

But you don’t have to take a deal just because it’s paid.

It’s in everyone’s best interest to stand up for your values ​​and want the best for not only yourself and your audience, but also the company that requires the partnership.

My approach is simple:

1. Say thank you.
2. Politely explain that you’re not the best fit.
3. You can offer your own perspective, e.g. alternatives that would help the company.
4. Thank them again for their trust.

You’ll save time and resources on both sides.

TL;DR: Accept the offers that truly align with you.

My followers often gain new LinkedIn connections through my posts... and the reason is actually quite simple: 

When my posts perform well and someone leaves a thoughtful comment, other users read it and think: 

“Hey, this person makes a great point. It’s worth having him/her in my network.”

Sometimes, you don’t even need to publish your own posts to grow your connections. The easier way is to comment on other people’s posts! 😀

One of the worst things that can happen in a team is having no one to learn from. And you know what happens when there is no room to grow? 

People slowly lose the sense that they’re improving. That their work has meaning. And when that disappears, so does motivation. 

It results in: 
• Dissatisfaction 
• Performance stagnation 
• Weaker team relationships 

And none of that can be fixed with a high salary in the long run. 

If you want your team to grow, create the right conditions:
→ Invite industry experts 
→ Encourage attending conferences 
→ Challenge them beyond their comfort zone 

It’s not a bad thing to be the “dumbest person in the room.” 
It’s often the fastest way to grow.

Salary motivates for a while. 
Growth motivates for a lifetime.

Yesterday, I gained another paying subscriber for my weekly marketing newsletter. 🥳 The sales formula is simple:

"If you want paying customers, sell value."

If someone sees your product as high-quality and useful to them, they are willing to pay for it because it can save them time, provide valuable information, or even save money in the long run.

If you compromise on quality, those people will leave (but this is not always the case, especially if a monopoly appears in the market).

The point is clear: Quality and value drive sales.

Which statistics tell you whether your post was successful? Are they really the ones LinkedIn highlights in your notifications? According to LinkedIn, they are:

– Impressions 
– Profile views 
– Followers 
– Likes & Comments 

🚨 The importance of each metric depends on your goal.

For me, the key metrics are Impressions and Profile views because they spark curiosity and boost my chances of selling a sponsorship.

The best proof that your post performed well is also:
• Booked calls
• Claimed collaborations
• Products/Services sold
• And on LinkedIn specifically, job offers

TL;DR: It can look like this:

🚨 Post → Impressions → Profile views → DM → Call → Deal

LinkedIn still has the reputation of a career platform, so it makes perfect sense that people are more active on it during the workweek. The best times are:

– between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. on weekdays (working hours)
– 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. on Tuesdays and at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. Thursdays

Tho my most successful posts took off during the weekends.

My guess as to why that happened:
– My close connections were online on weekends, so they supported me.
– I used light, easy-going topics.

I ran a LinkedIn posting experiment, and I need to say, I’m more than happy with the results. What was the point, and what did I learn? Transparent results: 

• I posted on LinkedIn every day for 7 days straight, twice a day, including weekends (until now, I was more of an “occasional” poster).
• Less than two weeks ago, I had a viral post, so this week looked like a “drop” in comparison.

BUT…

👍 Most of my posts during this period reached 1K+ impressions, some even 2K+, 3K+, or 4K+.
👍 The impressions seemed to grow with every new post.
👍 Engagement increased too (around 20 reactions on average) – commenting and keeping discussions going definitely helps.
👍 My profile views, followers, and connections went up (I gained at least 50 new ones. I am not kidding, one post brought me 10 new connections).

👉 Memes and celebratory posts performed the best.

And now that I’ve gotten used to seeing these positive results, I actually feel like continuing.

Transparent results of the 7-day LinkedIn challenge

If you’re Gen Z, now’s your time to shine on LinkedIn – the platform is starting to change: 

→ LinkedIn is becoming more of a content platform than a professional one. 
→ It’s integrating more AI features. 
→ Short videos are spreading. 
→ Users are talking in MEMEs. 
→ And yes, people are even trying to find dates here. 🙈 

But it’s not so bad. 

If you want to make an impression on this group, there are ways to do it.

There’s no single magic formula for growing on LinkedIn. In fact, there are several... and they work on any social media platform: 

1. Engage with people who reply; it will increase your engagement rate.  
2. To get more impressions, comment under the big creators' posts. 
3. Be prompt with responding to comments. 
4. Repost your content after some time. 
5. Talk about the current topics. 
6. Tag relevant people. 
7. Post more.
8. Act like you have nothing to lose – but protect your reputation! 

Of course, there are many more ways to grow, but these are simple and free.

I haven’t posted a video on YouTube in months, but I’m still growing. Why?

I bet on interviews with people I saw potential in: Sandra Đajic, iuliia shnai, or Janu Lingeswaran, just to name a few.

They all work hard and deliver results. 

People start noticing them, searching for more information about their names, about their activities, and along the way, they discover my videos with them. 

That’s why I’m still growing. 
They literally bring the audience to me.

Of course, there are many smaller contributing factors as well:
• The relevance of the topics we cover
• My activity and visibility across multiple platforms
• Previously successful videos (which the algorithm keeps pushing)

YouTube is a demanding platform, especially in terms of time, but if you invest in the right assets (people), the returns can multiply many times over.

The more content you create, the faster you become at improvising ideas and writing topics when you’re stuck. 

Last night, I closed my laptop, not really knowing what topic to write for my newsletter, which I send out every Sunday. 

BUT… 

When you’re under time pressure and have been writing long enough, you always find a way. 

I managed to finish the article 💅 and still have at least two hours to spare 😎.
